Amaretto,

That's the whole point there encapsulated in your comment: "What when they are talking to 20 companies....etc".....

Who is they? AWho the hell is the person leading these 20 discussions? There is absolutely no visibility of the management team at Angle. It is the Andrew Newlands show, and that is frankly just not good enough at this stage, and after all these years.. Given the man's ego,and his apparent inability to delegate, its a fair bet that he is leading all the commercial discussions himself. Given he cant be in 2 places at once, where does that leave the company's commercial strategy. has any other name ever been mentioned in relation to commercial discussions bar the FD?

In 1992 I got married in Jaywick. I Bought the Sun newspaper and found out interest rates had risen to 15%. Realised that my mortgage was now bigger than my net salary give or take. That is the horror that is coming. When even breathing makes you poorer.Time for an Amaretto and some popcorn! Winter is coming

The problem with AGL is....it feels like a jam tomorrow company. Got the product but dont know how to market it properly. With the CEO is going fishing and taking up huge salary, this will drip drip drip downward.

Sack the CEO and replace with Alan Sugar, this will ten bag from current price.

Otherwise just look at your money dwindling down day by day!

Excellent points Fevertree - I concur.

One hopes that AGL can secure one or more deals in the near term to give some support, but, AN needs to be in a different role and there certainly needs to be far greater accountability. Just look at the manner in which he arrogantly talks about only wanting certain types of shareholders, those in it for decades and with negligible regard for financial motive since he thinks his personal finances are secure - the chap needs to realise that investors are not in it to back his personal legacy or whatever he thinks is in it for him.

No doubt you are vastly experienced & can tick the following boxes: corproate governace best practice; serving or former NED at listed company ; eexcutive managemetn exeprience in the sector and at a listed company......If so then you would not be blathering nonsense so |I'm guessing its no ticks in any of those boxes

Before FDA my concerns were the same 1. Board composition 2. Commercial strategy
Why would I be a long term investor here if I didnt believe we'd get FDA approval? I never thought it wouldnt get approved -my concerns have always been was AN et al capable of commercialising matters and getting on with the task of building the business. And that on the judgement of the market is where the jury is very much out I'm afraid. Newlands cannot continue to promise jam tomorrow : he's been in charge for long enough to know that he is not running a not for profit nor is he runnig a research institute. There seems no unrgency to bulk up the managemetn team and the only new arrival of any note left in pretty short order. The questions remain:
"Is AN capable and willing to listen to advice?", "Is he being properly advised, and if so by whom?", "is he capable of working collaboratively given he has been one man band for so long" So far we havent had any encouragement that this is happening
