Hi Pldazzle, in all honesty I don’t what the potential impact (if any) would be for AGL or their customer’s if the LDT regulations were to be tightened.

I was on the point of emailing IG when I saw that Waterloo had emailed AN. Thanks Waterloo, I will be interested to see the reply.

My comment was to PB not you JH.

Tbh I never check the actual index, problem with that is 10 flyers can shore up hundreds of drifters every day so while the overall picture is gloomy the actual index itself holds up reasonably well.

In case you hadnt noticed Dave AIM all share has been in a Bear Market for over 2 1/2 years
Still 45% from its highs.
Chart recently traded above the 200 MA first time in 28 Months and found support at the 50 MA
Imho small caps are entering a bull market Q2-Q3
Many Fund Cap managers are bullish on small caps going forward.
Fund redemption have flattened out indicating Money flow is reversing.

A load of rubbish

I've been trading for over 35 years and since day 1 of online trading.

I can see when the market is getting the jitters because there is nothing get bought on the dips. I have 3 monitors all red and it's just sell after sell.

I believe in AGL long term so I'm not selling but it's the beginnings for me of a bear market for penny stocks. the US index's are stupidly high but they always ignore reality

Not really Dave AIM all share up 0.6%

Investors have realised AGL just keep pumping out the Jam.

Long term holders are not interested, its a pure trading stock.

I shall simply trade the gap up for 10-20% absolutely no interest in investing in AGL.

The selling is the overall markets.

I'm not sure if this is the beginning of a crash or just a broad based sell of small capped penny stocks in a market where today there's just no support for virtually anything.

I've seen these come and go so many times since online trading began but lets face it, the world is the gloomiest it's ever been and eventually it spreads to stocks and people prefer cash no matter how good or exciting the story. It creates great opportunities but not many out there taking any chances today.

Only 1.50 - 2p until the PA gets in the buying zone.
Still a shed load of traders and weak holders need to exit from the pump and dump

pldazzle, interesting. Not sure of the implications although equally they might work in our favour as we have FDA. One of the issues over the years are the number of companies offering tests via labs that haven't been through a rigorous process aka FDA.

What has happened is unapproved systems/tests are delivered via an FDA approved lab, and ride on the labs coattails rather than get approval for the actual test and it's accuracy. All the research literature should come into it's own in such situations.

Welcome other views. Bermuda?

NB. I've asked the question of AN and will let you know the reply.

@radderssandy - your post #22911

I'm not sure whether this has been picked up before, but a note of caution: In recent months the FDA has foreshadowed plans to introduce what looks to be considerably tighter regulation over LDTs [laboratory developed tests]. It's not clear to me whether this would catch commercial Parsortix lab tests, though I fear it may well do: what do others think? [not you, b999, we already know your views]

If these measures are indeed likely to cover AGL commercially-oriented lab tests, it is a bit worrying that (at least so far as I can see) AN/AGL appear to have kept silent and allowed shareholders to live in what might turn out to be a fools' paradise. I very much hope I am wrong.
