25/1/2013 08:26 | Is it a party to thank Harper for his fantastic stewardship? "Dr. Paul Harper will step down from the Board effective 31 December 2012. We would like to reiterate our thanks to Dr. Harper for his stewardship of the Group and wish him well for the future." | edinstead
25/1/2013 08:24 | If it is not an EGM then, in rough terms, what is it? | edinstead
25/1/2013 08:20 | certainly not an EGM thats for sure | pegasus59
25/1/2013 08:18 | So, what is happening Peg? | edinstead
25/1/2013 08:16 | I certainly wont be at the "GM"(not EGM)I dont think the bouncer would let me over the door. Hybridan are not the only ones who know what is happening. | pegasus59
25/1/2013 08:06 | "should have hit the floor" thats what you told me at 0.35p(£76k return @0.57) no wat im sayin dave? Stalin was put in place by EpHaG and the "5 year plan" is almost complete | pegasus59
25/1/2013 07:46 | Knock knock .you seem a bit undecided .could you get off the fence and tell us how you really feel about angel. | bronislav
25/1/2013 07:43 | 'Angel and Mapix s.a.r.l. (Mapix), an MMH associated company, will subscribe to AB Biotechnology Ltd on a 40:60 basis respectively although it is expected that Angel will reduce its holding in AB Biotechnology Ltd going forward.' -------------------- So it is written, So it shall be, Quite incredible really, The Russians Got the Angel for free. | knocknock
25/1/2013 07:31 | So, the directors are seemingly leaving it right to the wire at the EGM on Monday. Whether this means that MMH have shafted them by taking advantage even more than they appear to have done already is yet to be seen but it is clear that, yet again, the directors have shown an extraordinarily poor sense of judgement and business acumen in their approach to the JV and the running of the company generally. Whether they can now repair some of the damage that they have caused is anyone's guess but I somehow doubt that there will be a flood of buyers before the EGM. | edinstead
24/1/2013 20:37 | Remains Incredible | jenniferzz
24/1/2013 19:19 | iN2.... not familiar with Rage Plc Though did they promote their aspirations of protracted contracts and expansion encouraging £m's of additional funding, thus re-aligning new state of the art facilities and equipment at their shareholders expense only to subsequently funnel the assets into another partly owned venture whist also establishing an additional subsidery limited company..? I'm sure they're doing the best they can and Monday will be an interesting day to say the least, and perhaps it's good that the JV details are not published beforehand enabling any attendee's to have their say on the day, though I'm not sure what good that would do. Pointless selling my last few now, and in till the end... ya never know, come Monday / Tuesday we might be falling over ourselve's stocking back up again....lol | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 19:15 | And btw, Angel has never been profitable. They had a 190k profit for a six months period followed by a 240k loss for the next 6 month period giving a loss for the full year. How a company that has squandered over £12 million in grants and placing monies and other investments in 10 years can ever be described as being once profitable beats me. And they thought the Wig was the mad one............... Lol! | knocknock
24/1/2013 17:27 | It also appears that i caused an internal "stooshie" sorry about that good luck to all concerned | pegasus59
24/1/2013 17:19 | I was informed at the time(AUG) that "stalin" himself would have been proud of the ruthlessness with which staff were sacked at Cramlington(again) Why have so many staff agreed to stay on reduced wages? edit:The move back to cramlington was simply to buy time to appease major shareholders | pegasus59
24/1/2013 16:55 | Forget legal action against an AIM company. I was in Rage plc when they sold their only asset, their production facility, for one penny to a relative of the CEO and a few weeks later ceased trading all share holding were wiped out and although legal action was taken no one got their money backand the production facility just carried on trading. Best advice here is "cut your losses". | inside2
24/1/2013 16:15 | Indeed, Doctor, the 28th should provide some answers, possibly very grizzly ones, but I would be very happy to wake up tomorrow to an RNS saying that the JV has been agreed on favourable terms with £5 million in contracts although I doubt it will happen. | edinstead
24/1/2013 16:07 | Edin - clearly you're going to find out more on the 28th | the_doctor
24/1/2013 16:06 | Hedgehog ABH was burning too much cash They were running two plants without enough business coming in. Something I suggested they MUST do if possible, was consolidate and close down Pentlands It seems they've done something along those lines, by shifting Pentlands to MMH Result will be reduced cash burn In that situation, the business would be more attractive to fund and the demands of new contracts are lessened My expectation/hope is that MMH or some other investor is injecting funds after the JV is formalised | the_doctor
24/1/2013 16:03 | 'Wrong - they were profitable before they reopened Cramlington' a tiny amount for a small time? That did not justify a business and the share price would have bombed Moreover, if/when the Pentlands contracts had dropped, ABH would still have been loss-making The difference Edin is that I've always appreciated the challenges of what ABH was doing and how it all rested on new contracts coming in | the_doctor
24/1/2013 16:03 | Thank you for the absolution HH. I can now get shafted with a clean conscience. BTW, where is the flood of buyers who are due to materialise in order to demonstrate their faith in the directors' ability to manage this company or at least their blind faith in believing a word that they say? I must be missing something. | edinstead |
