24/1/2013 16:03 | edin.. they were only profitable for one year mate.... 2010 I seem to remember the rest has been scrounged | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 16:00 | "you fail to appreciate that this company has always had cash burn issues. It's not as if they messed up something profitable" Wrong - they were profitable before they reopened Cramlington "you have not been misled - they have only ever told you of their aims and hopes. You're daft if you took those as promises or gospel" What planet are you on? You cannot just go around making up aims and hopes about the future in a listed company without being held accountable for misleading investors. ""MMH walks off with the crown jewels" you've just made that up" If you read my post properly you will realise that I was saying that I did not want this to happen NOT that it will happen If you cannot see a problem with the disparity between what the directors have said over the past couple of years compared to what they have delivered then you really have no right to call anybody else childish! Mind you, I am not sure how mature that it is to call a person who is seriously discussing a company's future "childish". | edinstead
24/1/2013 15:58 | If the JV is now to be conducted from Pentlands, would it not be a consideration that the transferance of fixed assets to the JV were primarily based within Pentlands, or is it a simplistic paperwork procedure assigning assets between holdings despite their locations...? Just asking.... | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 15:50 | edin, you're being childish, yes 1. you fail to appreciate that this company has always had cash burn issues. It's not as if they messed up something profitable 2. you have not been misled - they have only ever told you of their aims and hopes. You're daft if you took those as promises or gospel 'MMH walks off with the crown jewels' you've just made that up We dont know what the MMH JV arrangement is. So far, we know that ABH has passed some assets over to the JV Well, if that has reduced cash burn allowing the rest of the business to survive, then that's a good thing, no? You dont seem to get that ABH was burning too much cash as a result of hoped deals not coming in quickly enough. They possibly also over-expanded Hoever, since then they havent had a lot of choice All they can do is a) do all they can to get more contracts b) take steps to cover the business is those are slow to come in | the_doctor
24/1/2013 15:45 | You are forgiven... 'My Son' If ABL is sold off for a song (along with the transfered fixed assests) to appease any type creditation via any unfortunate ABH administation, then I guess it will become all too apparent whats been going on. This being the case, I would not be surprised to see some sort of criminal investigation following the slant the company had alluded to regarding it's apparent positive development up until mid last year... If this scenario materialises, it will seem quite damning that the company did in fact fleece it's shareholders, funnel everything into a Limited company, and quite possibly sell it for peanuts at our expense. Suppose the real answer would result from the identity of the new owner should any of this hocum ever happen.... lol | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 15:35 | HH, AIM is opaque at the best of times but I would like to think that the truth will come out in the end and that the directors' actions over the next few days will be key to this process. Personally, I would prefer to shaft MMH if the end result is that ABH is going to get shafted anyway and any bargaining chip available should be used to avoid ABH getting shafted whilst MMH walks off with the crown jewels - if that is the reason for the latest delay then good but forgive me if my faith in the directors is a little low! | edinstead
24/1/2013 15:28 | edinstead.. ".....the only question is whether it was accidental or not"! Perhaps if the situation ever arises where AB Biological Ltd is used as a bargaining chip on the negotiating table (considering the transference of fixed assets)......we'll see if it was accidental or not... . | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 15:18 | Peter Shaw, CEO of DP Poland (LON:DPP), tells Proactiveinvestors that the master franchise that the company holds for its exclusive operations in Poland give it a good opportunity to benefit from the economy as it moves ahead. Peter says that in addition to the opportunities that Poland itself offers, the brand and the management team that has been put in place gives investors the chance to benefit from the company's position. | john ford timmins
24/1/2013 15:05 | Doc, so let me get this straight. You defend a bunch of directors who have repeatedly raised money on the back of plans/potential/prom | edinstead
24/1/2013 14:30 | Gotta ask you Doc... Who in the right mind raises and spends the amount of money this BoD have done on additional facilities, without any type of bond, insurance, security or even letter of intent that guarantee the contracts before investing a penny of our hard earned cash..? .... and for a second time. Fkn mind boggling | hedgehog33
24/1/2013 14:08 | doc may well have changed his underwear but he's still whistling the same old tune. | inside2
24/1/2013 14:04 | edin a company running out of money doesnt mean they 'shafted everyone' they made the strategy fairly clear a long way back It's just that contracts havent come in as hoped and that's not necessarily all their fault do stop making childish comments about when they announce the JV, it's pathetic | the_doctor
24/1/2013 13:17 | Just 4 days left to find out if the directors have actually managed to do something constructive for the first time in years or whether they have shafted everyone before walking off into the sunset. Of course, they could start doing their job sooner and update the market about the JV!!! | edinstead
23/1/2013 16:13 | Whistling in the wind doc. | inside2
23/1/2013 14:37 | edin, as I said, where have they 'promised' companies often give their best guidance and dont have full control 'Where is the RNS explaining why there has been no JV signed as promised in mid-January and/or confirming that it has been signed?' clearly this is still around 'mid-January' and the exact timing doesnt matter | the_doctor
23/1/2013 09:21 | "Substantial" comms with Fujifilm Dyosinth?????FDB will not have validated cell manufacturing facility on line untill H2 2013 | pegasus59
23/1/2013 08:32 | The point is that it is incompetent at best to make promises that you have no control over and even more incompetent to then fail to update the market once you realise that you have yet again more false promises. Where is the RNS explaining why there has been no JV signed as promised in mid-January and/or confirming that it has been signed? Do they really believe that nobody has noticed that they are stretching the definition of mid-January to the limit or do they just not care? If you can't even get these basic things right then what on earth are you do taking a director's salary? | edinstead
