As others have said, it is quite amazing how a group of posters spends all day, every day attacking this company

Peg, you suggested Hybridian was angry.
They have no grounds to be angry imo and if they are, that's truly pathetic.

Perhaps some of their folk are behind the attacks, who knows?
Roger is of course one of the main culprits though - he's just an unpleasant little character and should stick to cleaning windows

Others like Edin are clueless and flapping around making childish comments and looking for someone to blame.

Peg

You said 'ABH has been kept on life support' in the past

Has it???
The company raised money through equity issue just as others have
That was orchestrated through brokers, just as per usual
It isn't as if the company has been 'kept on life support' as you suggest and it isnt as if there's been anything odd about the financing
Why make that comment?

'no shame! the original story was reported less than 1 yr ago, when the mug punter holders were conned into buying the business for abh.'

eh??
that's a different story isnt it!

If 'mug punters were conned' then it was a bad move, no?

yet you also say

'paid for a new company with contracts ready to go'

the collagen business was bought to accelerate the time to sustainability
It gave ABH a better shot, but that still wasnt enough
It was no 'con' or scam, it just hit delays in other areas that were key to the strategy and ran out of money.

What you could of course say is that if the army of determined derampers hadnt tried to encourage the share price down all day every day, then ABH may have had a better chance at raising the last bridge financing it needed
- but that isnt the case. The derampers here were just clueless bitter posters with nothing better to do and didnt actually have any impact

rocketfuel, you are reporting guff as always

Exactly as the article says, ABH hit cash flow issues
If anything, the sale of the collagen business highlights how ABH made a decent acquisition there. It was complementary and in good stead, but it couldnt alone achieve enough business to fill out ABH's facilities

ABH needed more contracts to make Cramlington pay, but that didnt happen in time

Your remark here is childish and silly

'abh shareholders paid for a new company with contracts ready to go.
go check out these two links'

'Perhaps we'll see when it is revealed who finally picks up the pieces'

I'm not so sure that'll happen

A buyer of ABH will face Exactly the same issues

It's possible that someone (such as the Russians) held off funding ABH, or even deliberately delayed contracts to cause it to go bust in order to pick the company off shareholders for little
However, this isnt a company with debt that's being written off. The running costs will be the same - the chance of contracts will be same.

ABH perhaps just needed more time, but time requires cash it didnt have

JakNife

My version is based on facts and a very good understanding of biologics manufacture etc.

Your version is little more than a silly remark that's based on a couple of folklore AIM scam stocks

As I've just said, but you chose to ignore, the fact ABH had various clients that it was actually producing for, supports that it was not a scam.

The issue with ABH was that it expanded to create a longer-term sustainable business, but couldnt then obtain the contracts needed to fill that.
Simple as that.
It is also perfectly true that if ABH got a bit more in terms of business, then they'd have returned to profitability and been ok. That I'm sure of.

It IS possible that some of the recent talk about the survival strategy was just made up to help a mate sell out a few shares before suspension, but that's fairly irrelevant.
It's also likely that some of the talk was over-optimistic to help get the company funded in the past, but that's what all of these struggling smallcaps have to do and one can read between the lines. It doesnt make them a scam.

You're just making things up JakNife, talking conspiracy nonsense

Rumours are that the Ruskies made it to town and that the deal will be done for ABH

If so ABH will absolutely fly!

A very risky punt for sure are ABH but it could be a highly profitable punt on ABH?!?!?

'chasing the "Recombinant Interferon" dream(twice)'

Peg
It was CLIENTS that wanted to chase that dream was it not
If they were willing to pay for IFN-related contracts, how was ABH wrong to do that.

'Angel have done it again with Transgenrx with the company being left with all the costs after handing over the knowledge free of charge once more'

handing over knowledge for free??
anything to show that you're not just making that up Peg
ABH would be a contract manufacturer for these companies

'Not without a touch of industrial espionage thrown in,TPI.inc are openly manufacturing and selling the products that Angel showed them how to manufacture'

TPI has full rights to do so!
The way contracts typically work is TPI etc would show ABH! how to make the products FOR THEM.
It may just be that TPI decided ABH was no longer needed as a manufacturer of the products.

What evidence do you have for any of these comments
No offence, but you seem to be just making things up at random

It's quite possible that they say the JV is off

It's possible they announce a placing - they need cash after all

It's possible that MMH is buying Pentlands

It's possible that ABH is going bust and the JV was just to secure MMH's interests

As posted, the wording in RNSs seems a little more positive to me
I cant see why ABH would give MMH a stake in the JV for nothing
- either to reduce cash burn with MMH paying ~half costs there
- or MMH paying something

Either way, I see the JV and restructuring as a key part of making ABH a sustainable company

Most likely scenario - JV with Pentlands essentially becoming MMH's... ABH burn rate reduced and with a more robust outlook, then able to secure a placing... probably at 0.1

'Hybridan are not the only ones who know what is happening'

which is what Pegasus??

if you're suggesting something underhand, make the FSA known, call Hybridian etc

you repeatedly make such comments - if you've got something to say then say it

I'm assuming you're referring to a placing
Well given ABH needs cash, so what - what else do you think they can do?

'They had a superb workforce at Pentland that was sacrificed for no fault of their own'

ABH had Pentlands full and Cramlington with masses of extra capacity
As I've pointed out several times, to reduce cash burn, ABH really had to consolidate those facilities

Pentlands is not being 'sacrificed', ABH has HAD TO cut that.
Its not through fault of their own either

When Cramlington was set up again and not enough business was coming in, what did Pentlands staff think would happen?
Sorry, it's sad and unfortunate - it would seem you know someone that worked there?

'Are MMH going to take over pentlands lock stock and barrel with Angel bio/biomedical moving to cramlington'

Moving out of Pentlands was one strategic move I suggested to the company, although they sadly never got back to me to say whether or not that was feasible
ie. moving could cause too much disruption/cost too much

With one new large plant, ditching a smaller one would reduce running expenses (in theory)

So far, from what I can see:
- MMH agrees contracts
- ABH invests in expansion on this basis
- MMH cuts back on contracts/delays
- with too few other new contracts, ABH has overspent and runs out of money

then
- ABH forms MMH-controlled JV with fixed-assets shifted over

Why?? - What's in that for ABH?
either
a) the JV still provides cash and is better than MMH pulling out all together
b) MMH is going to give ABH something in return - cash/ a loan?
c) MMH was just looking to secure its investment/ requirements given ABH's tricky financial situation
