LME tin showing $24350, up 2k in the last week. Still good margin at current AISC. Would be great to see some lithium offtake agreements signed. Maybe then the market will start to believe the lithium story... Or maybe it will only be once the cash is rolling in. Anyway I took the opportunity presented by the dip to roughly triple my holding. Maybe crazy, but I like the potential here and happy to be loading up before the masses catch on to the story. Surely those spodumene images indicate we are in for some higher % lithium intersections.

Elsewhere, tin output at Uis ran at record levels in the final quarter of 2022, with 361 tonnes (t) of concentrate and 214t of metal produced. For 2002 overall, production was 960t of concentrate, a 19% increase, with metal up 18% at 596t.

Andrada also said sustainable costs (AISC) fell 9% on average and in the final quarter were its lowest ever at US$18,236/t.

So, need Finance confirmation, tin back up above usd32,000 & Lithium bi-product (when it comes on stream) to add 20%+ nett profit… achieve that and it becomes a v.profitable mine.

We need the finance sorted....
gla

Financing

-- Significant progress towards fulfilling the precedent conditions for the Orion Resource Partners ("Orion") and the Development Bank of Namibia ("DBN") financing.

-- Cash balance at the end of February 2023 increased by 16% to GBP 8.6 million (USD

10.3 million) from GBP 7.4 million (USD 9.9 million) on 28 February 2022.

Edit....

Orion Resource Partners ("Orion") and Development Bank of Namibia ("DBN") funding update

The conditional finance arrangements for Orion and DBN, previously announced on 5 July 2022, 15 September 2022, and 17 November 2022, have been combined into a single legal workstream to reduce the timeline to financial closure. The Company still expects to complete the process by the end of May 2023. Further updates will be provided in due course.

Lets hope so!

On a recent interview AV said unit costs were 18k. Assuming 22k tin price and production is 100 tonnes per month: 100 (Tonnes) x 4000 (profit)= £400,000 p/month.

I am here to learn though, so please feel free to chime in.

I think the Ore sorting will be pretty exciting too.

Probably at break even or small loss with the current tin price.
It's now really all about getting the lithium circuit going, that's the cream on top of the milkm

They should probably update the market prior to Qtr 4 results. But we’re always the last to know.

I guess 4th Qtr results not gonna be great…unforeseen delays? production down? poor tin price? and looks like the seller is back!

Rats from a sinking ship... Or a huge buying opportunity. If we had confirmation of the bank funds, I would likely be buying more. But feel a sense of unease without knowing what is going on. Hopefully a full update is due soon.
