There was a post on lse from the guy who lives in Australia, he mentioned that in Australia companies using a technic of 10% to block a nasty takeover attempt...I am not saying this is the case here but this significant ( and for amc this is significant ) buying pressure may be for the purpose of low bid offer to take over... not ramping or deramping but we haven't seen this for a good few years now...
