16/10/2018 10:00 | Been in amc since about 2007, so long ago can’t remember....however read the comments ever day,but have nothing of value to add myself and, as I am nearer 80 than 70, probably would have forgotten it if I had. However thought I ought to thank you all for your remarks as I need amusing, daily! Now, of course, it’s become a bit of a race, who will arrive first? .....amc producing nickel? Or the grim reaper!......we shall see! P.s. sorry about your cat,Bwana, we lost Dennis a few years ago, still remember him. All ....keep your comments coming! | jghale
16/10/2018 09:55 | CBS,a very good and also a very well thought out post. Thank you for taking the time to do so. Mad, thank you for your sympathies. I feel hurt ,because animals give me unconditional love.It hurts me more than losing people. | callmebwana
16/10/2018 09:09 | CBS - spot on, why we are all making narratives is clear, misleading and incomplete communications. You'd have thought a Chair and a CEO would see this as their responsibility to their shareholders wouldn't you. Imagine if BHP treated their shareholders this way! Either or both would be sacked. The Chair and the governance are appalling | madengland_
16/10/2018 09:05 | Great name for a cat Bwana, sorry to hear it's left you | madengland_
16/10/2018 08:42 | Bwana, one of the (many) problems with AMC - or rather, one of my many problems with AMC - is that I am forced to create narratives that may or may not be true in order to convince myself that this is still a worthwhile investment. This thing does have a gigantic resource, good grade, and the limits to what we have already proved up (and that which is still being proved up - we have to have audited results from ASL). Apparently the Gov't is keen for us to get up and running, and I can understand why they would want this. The Ni price has recovered from it's lows in the $3/lb space, and has done rather well in the metals universe. And then in light of all these positives, I have to create narratives for myself that are not narratives deployed by our company communications. So my latest wheeze is that following a surprising extension in resource and grade in August, the PFS that RY was likely ready to release to market had to yet again by re-drafted. Why? Because the PFS he had in hand, the one that took into account the 2017 resources, would need to be entirely re-written given the find in August. I can only guess that, following August drilling, RY looked at the 2017-resources PFS and thought 'ill have to shift the start of mining over here, I'll have to make all of this area Open Pit, perhaps go UG here...four entrances, start simultaneous work here...' in other words, a re-design given the August results: the 2017 mine design would not incorporate the mine design that takes into account the 2018 results. Apples and well...pears, perhaps. Not quite oranges. And I have to convince myself that this is the case because I cannot square the following: 1.) being told that the PFS numbers would be coming out back in July. 2.) the Al Ford interview that he expected such numbers should be out soon. 3.) that RPM had clearly already created a PFS for AMC (but only based on 2016 numbers mind - the publish date of that on their website was Feb 2017, and 2017 resource drilling was not confirmed until March 2018). So the likelihood is, RY has in posession:. 1.) A PFS created by RPM in Feb 2018 that incorporates all drilling results up to and including 2016. 2.) Then the team started working the PFS that takes into account the 2017 resources (released March 2018). They're about ready to release this: this was RY's interivew in July saying they would be out soon, and perhaps even Al Ford thinking that too then 3.) The drilling in August, the 'best hole ever drilled (from RNS)' etc...makes him think hold on. I can't release a PFS that doesnt take into account the likely future reality. I need to get back to the drawing board. So this is the narrative I know convince myself of, and why we have a delay. My only problem with this Bwana is that I have had to construct this story myslef - id much rather by told by RY why there is a delay. Whatever it is. | cowboysteve
16/10/2018 06:27 | Sorry to hear about your little Tinker Bell, bwana. We have a 'rescue' cat, too. She has lots of 'issues' but we wouldn't swap her for any other. She sitting here with me now ! Being kind to any animal brings great rewards. Good luck to all genuine holders, here ! | showercubicle

12/10/2018 20:50 | Not the latest news, but found this interview about 10-12 months only old but its not important, important is - did anyone knew that we plan to expand????AMUR MINERALS: advance bet Question: And how is the project developing at the Kun-Magnio field, how much gold will it give?- Amur Minerals is leading the exploration of the field at a fast pace. But, despite the fact that it has gold reserves - about 3 tons, in the future - up to 6 tons, this is a nickel-copper deposit, which also contains platinum and palladium. Kun-Manie, which is a part of Amur Minerals, is completing the drilling program this year, and plans to submit a final report on reserves, although the deadline for the license is 2020.It is expected that nickel reserves will be over 800 thousand tons, copper - more than 250 thousand. In the future, Amur Minerals may expand the boundaries of mining: the ore field goes to the Khabarovsk Territory. The company took a search license there, but did not have time to start work and lost it. The management of Amur Minerals correctly believes that it is necessary to start the development of the main field first, and after its development pays for itself, it will be possible to begin a search in the neighboring territory. In 2018, the company promises to prepare a feasibility study on Kun-Magnie.The current feasibility study - raw, Amur Minerals has not yet decided on the development scheme, consider different options. At first they wanted to transport the concentrate abroad for processing, now they are thinking of putting a plant for the production of matte (an alloy of nickel, copper, gold, platinum, palladium). In any case, for the construction they will look for an investor. The field is located in an economically undeveloped area: off-road, deserted, there even hunters are not everywhere. The economics of mastering is hard. Today, Amur Minerals is on the list of projects that can get money for infrastructure from the Far East Development Fund - for the construction of road | qui quaerit reperit
12/10/2018 20:47 | Amur region: the hope for an autoclave and the price of goldIn 2018, the Amur region expects to keep the production of precious metals. What situation will develop in 2019, the regional ministry speaks with caution, because everything is largely dependent on Petropavlovsk, first of all, the launch of the autoclave (AGC). Without it, ore gold mining may fall to 7-10 tons per year.In turn, the start-up and operation of the AGK are highly dependent on the value of gold. The same factor is fundamentally important for placers. When the price falls, the extraction of precious metals from placer deposits in the Amur region may decrease to 3-4 tons per year.Enterprises of the Amur region this year will extract at least 25 tons of gold, which is 12% more than a year earlier. At the same time, about 8 tons will be in placers, the rest - in primary deposits.Alexei Yevseyev, head of the mining industry at the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Amur Region, does not rule out that the total production may reach 26 tons: everything will depend on the work of Petropavlovsk (Petropavlovsk Plc), whether it can keep the pace taken this year - 13% ahead of last year's results .In an interview with the Bulletin of the Gold Producer, Alexey Evseev spoke about the fears and hopes of Amur gold mining."PETROPAVLOVS | qui quaerit reperit
