30/4/2008 20:55 | There may well be further falls with DTEC but we also know that there will be important newsflow in the very short term. I've followed DTEC closely for nearly a year and finally bought a maiden holding this week. I like the company alot and I think it's got significant potential. Recent RNS's have been positive and the directors buying last year is also very encouraging. I'm very surprised that the share price has dropped so much. And to think I thought that there was great value here at 12p. IF DTEC does fall, I'll look to increase my holding. Of course they have to deliver but if they do then the potential for share price appreciation should be much greater than current levels. | water30
30/4/2008 19:15 | Trouble is, you put a buy order in for say 100k, and you can get them at 2.45 on T20 terms, suggets to me there could be further falls rather than a tick up, but then again, wtfdik? | ![]() the drewster
30/4/2008 13:44 | Hi Drew, I agree - thats why I think it is a good time to buy :) Of course, as always, I could be wrong. Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve
30/4/2008 13:39 | seems there's plenty of stock about, so not going to be moving upwards without a proper news release to mop it all up. | ![]() the drewster
30/4/2008 13:04 | Hi Dorset, Go take a swim :):) I am quietly confident in DTEC - there is massive potential if all goes to plan, and all tests on the new equipment has so far been positive. Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve
30/4/2008 12:47 | Hi steve, I should be joining in with you in the next few days or so, once other funds released. Still in Dubai at mo but boy, is it bloody hot here or what. Dorset | ![]() dorset64
29/4/2008 21:21 | My understanding is that the new equipment is now on site, and that we should have a positive RNS in a the next few weeks. If anyone wants further info,I suggest an email to the CEO, Julian Moore, may be productive. I do not feel it would be proper of me to give out his email address here, but, if you phone the Company, I am sure they will give it to you - UK 07787 825 269 Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve

11/4/2008 12:28 | I guess a 5% increase today isn't tooo bad :-) | askewg
11/4/2008 08:05 | Yes, always puzzles me how these inverstments I make after huge amounts of research and careful selection continue to be so undervalued. Maybe I (and you for that matter) might have to question the value or quality of the research? Or maybe we are just unlucky (like so many investors like to consider themselves) that the current credit crisis has led so many large insitutions to sell so many shares, particularly in small caps, since perhaps they know there are further, possibly more worrying, challenges ahead? | ![]() the drewster
10/4/2008 14:29 | I am a bit puzzled right now. Several of my shares seem to be undervalued and I cant see why?!? | askewg
09/4/2008 18:34 | Looks like somebody is unloading a lot of shares at 2p - (2,500,000 in the last few days), but, the share price has not dropped - my guess is that it is an Institution selling - ( maybe Corvus as already suggested) - but, I can only think that there is a big buyer, or another Institution taking them up, otherwise we would have had a dramatic fall in share price by now. If I am right we should see another RNS re the buys and sells when all has been completed. Any views? Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve
07/4/2008 16:16 | the drewster, any suggestions with CVS?? do you still think they'll look to gobble up CMM, if thats the right phrase. any idea where the finance is coming from? | ![]() humbugg
07/4/2008 16:06 | they've sold everything else, so it could easily be. | ![]() the drewster
07/4/2008 15:17 | lumpy seller just moved out of this stock. is it CVS? | ![]() humbugg
31/3/2008 12:59 | The update was almost exactly what I thought and pretty boring. However it is good news to hear no bad news and to hear they are on track. | askewg
31/3/2008 12:41 | Results today a bit of a none event - I suspect we have to wait until late April / early May for a meaningful update on progress, as per the comment in the RNS below. Regards Steve " We have made good progress with the manufacture of LRUs and the commissioning of the large scale production plant at Grasfontein and expect this plant to be in production by the end of April 2008." | ![]() cyprussteve
26/3/2008 12:50 | Email below received today from DTEC's financial advisers - I guess this could mean up to and including Monday March 31st. Regards Steve " Hi Steve, The announcement of interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2007 will be made before the end of March next few days. Regards John" | ![]() cyprussteve
25/3/2008 11:10 | You are correct, HD - no matter what my views are, this board is not the place for me to air them - apologies. From English Steve in Cyprus :):) | ![]() cyprussteve
25/3/2008 10:49 | Hi HD, Yes - The North is certainly cheaper - but, without wishing to get involved in politics, bear in mind that much of the land and property in the North is being bought and sold illegally following the Turkish invasion, when the Cypriots were forced to flee their homes, to which they own title deeds. This may,or may not, come home to roost financially in the longer term, but, maybe there are moral considerations to consider also. However, that is not the purpose of the board, so,good luck to the good ship DTEC and all who sail in her :) Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve
25/3/2008 08:53 | Hi panagos/CyprusSteve ,being a Yorkie I go where it is cheapest especially the beer . | ![]() h d shoring
25/3/2008 08:25 | Agreed here is no country named trnc, only Cyprus exists. Hi Steve, I'll send you an e-mail as promised with my views early next week, regards. Still looking at DTEC. | ![]() panagos
24/3/2008 19:41 | Hi HD, PROPER Cyprus - Northern Cyprus only exists according to Turkey :):) I hope DTEC pays for it for you also - good luck. Either way, I am quietly confident in the long term future of this share. Regards Steve | ![]() cyprussteve |
