12/4/2006 11:20 | That's a bargain ! | yotter
12/4/2006 11:17 | any one else seen this: Will it really sell for £39? Edit: From the website: All profits go to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital - not sure if this is just for the prototype. The prototype is currently displayed on this site and if the response to it is positive, the product range will be put into production. Amstrad plan to approach other people with famous catchphrases and expressions. Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsay, Catherine Tate or Matt Lucas are just a few of the potential celebrities we have in mind to approach (although no agreements have yet been made). | phoenix knight
11/4/2006 15:13 | She's up and down like a kangaroo shagging a spacehopper. | yotter
11/4/2006 14:50 | that anti-wrinkler device must be making bucket loads. | netcurtains
11/4/2006 14:31 | Is that you Reggie? | bitterlemontart
10/4/2006 13:58 | Yes it does. Specifically, I overlooked this from last full results:- "Although we anticipate a good performance in the current financial year, shareholders should not expect the same level of result as we have reported for the year to 30 June 2005. However, the subsequent financial year looks positive and we are excited by the potential of the new orders and new range of products which should underpin prospects for future financial years." Much appreciated. | hufhaus
10/4/2006 13:31 | They put out the 'ahead of expectations' statement at the start of January, after the half year end. The orders are all for the second half. Then they reiterated the full year view with the half year results - which were in line with expectations of a reduction from H1 2005, as they flagged with the last full year results. Makes sense? | monty burns
10/4/2006 13:10 | Think you're correct to see 180-ish as buying opp here. I bought last week based on a number of factors. Just one issue I'm unclear on and that is the apparent mismatch between the Jan statement that full year performance will exceed market expectations and the actual H1 interims posted in Feb. Regardless, I expect to see 200 before results. | hufhaus
10/4/2006 12:31 | Third day 'up' here in a row - what a wonderfully well-behaved stock - down to the top of the gap, albeit took its effing time, now steadily rising on up, as expected. Added some more spreadbet longs at 180 and 176 Just sitting back and counting the cash - on this one at any rate. | monty burns
28/3/2006 08:21 | why does it always go up in the morning and down in the afternoon. If you shorted it in the morning (a £1 a point) you'd make a profit by the afternoon? Or are the mrk makers temping people to do this ready for a big "sting" when enough people have placed their short bets? I watched the hussler last week - watch out, market makers are apparently crooks. | netcurtains
27/3/2006 21:39 | Come on AMSTRAD £6 tomorrow. Fed up of this down wave, lets have an up wave. Much more fun for the investor. Come on, up up up up John | netcurtains
27/3/2006 18:47 | Yes how stupid was that? I just lost interest at the time due to other distractions. | oodawan
27/3/2006 18:38 | Well many apologies - so did you see them go to £6, then down to 20p and you still held them? | monty burns
27/3/2006 18:20 | Hi Monty, I have held Amstrad shares from about 1984. | oodawan
27/3/2006 13:25 | mel from the FAR5 thread reckons that AMT could soon be very interesting again....as he says keep a very close eye on that RSI!!!! | bitterlemontart
27/3/2006 12:57 | Mmm, think I'll keep quiet if that's what happens to the share price... | monty burns
27/3/2006 12:40 | MB - good post....as always! | bitterlemontart
27/3/2006 12:39 | Orient - I do do rolling spread bets with CMC for the larger cap stuff I do, but CMC don't do stocks as small as AMT - that's why I had to find another provider, who operate with different rules... | monty burns
27/3/2006 12:32 | Comments appreciated Monty, many thanks. | rogid
27/3/2006 12:23 | Looks like I will not be taking a position...always thought AMT was a ftse 250 company....never mind :) | 0rient |
