30/8/2007 17:30 | The Office of Fair Trading has given the green light to BSkyB's £125 million (172m) purchase of satellite receiver manufacturer Amstrad. Last week, BSkyB announced that it was extending the deadline for acceptances of its cash offer to September 4, revealing that it now owned 85.9% of the company's stock. BSkyB is looking to use Amstrad, founded by entrepreneur Sir Alan Sugar, to give it an in-house design and development capability. The DTH operator already represents 75% of Amstrad's income with part of the remainder coming from fellow News Corp company Sky Italia. | darrin1471 | |

08/8/2007 12:56 | Darrin1471, Not really. I bought before big dividend for about 160. So 150 ( I guess) will give me about 15p profit? per share or about 10% - which is a pretty low profit for holding these things so long. I was rather hoping for about 180-200 a share. Oh well, a profit is a profit. | netcurtains |
