08/2/2011 22:44 | I imagine we will be bought out soon as we have a (almost) proven profitable business | hirschnathan
07/2/2011 23:42 | Ikos78 - Strange the analysts only see 1.7m for yr/end Nov-2011, in H2 the company made 0.582m if you add back that big exceptional of 1.700 the total comes to 2.282m, assuming Amino at least breaks even in H1 for this year that would be 1m more add in some growth and improvement in costs to offset volume discounts, I think 3.5m is more realistic, which would equate to eps of 6.2p at today's mid of 50 forward P/E stands at 8, well below market average, I believe the price will at least double by year end. *edit* The analyst based their forecast on revenue £60.4m, so I reran my calcs and the earnings came out higher than my above earlier figures!! They also have a £30m tax credit to use up against profits, so eps should be higher. | adventurous
07/2/2011 16:32 | Larger orders will always expect volume prices, thats life. Main thing was, they are now in the sweet zone, with £13m already in for the first half, lower admin costs and without the exceptions, expect health profit in next interims. Underpriced. | adventurous
07/2/2011 16:30 | prob a takeover candidate | hirschnathan
07/2/2011 15:43 | Going no further until they can reassure markets that margins are going to be maintained, so far little evidence that they are under control, particularly as they say that with larger orders come stretched margins. Nice product, but small co. in an ever evolving market, is this a knockout product that they possess or bigger fish going to arrive on the scene and gobble, gobble! | bookbroker
07/2/2011 09:29 | good results. nice turnaround | hirschnathan
07/2/2011 09:05 | Yes very good results. Technically just starting to move above the 200wma for the first time since 2005. Very positive. | matt123d
07/2/2011 08:22 | Excellent results, now under priced. Second half, into profit, eps was 1.03p. | adventurous
02/2/2011 09:56 | to hard to buy, need to go manually for any decent purchase | hirschnathan
02/2/2011 07:15 | blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced the launch of a TV API (Application Programming Interface). The API is designed to provide partners in the fast-growing Connected TV ecosystem - from box makers and TV manufacturers, to app developers and game consoles - access to blinkx's index of over 35 million hours of online video. The TV API draws from the wealth of video content across the entire web - but automatically filters results based on the capabilities of the user's device - such as the video formats it supports - so that the user is always offered compatible clips. For partners, blinkx's TV API offers both efficient access to a deep, diverse source of online content from top broadcasters and media companies, and can also help solve the navigation challenge that is inherent in the lean-back experience of Connected TV. Based on technology that was perfected over 12 years at Cambridge University, blinkx uses a combination of patented conceptual search with speech and image recognition software to understand rich media more thoroughly than any other solution available today. This deep understanding of content enables blinkx to deliver the unrivaled discovery, personalization and recommendation functionality which is critical to a successful user experience in the Connected TV environment. "blinkx is an unparalleled source for online video search and discovery through any platform. The blinkx Web API was launched five years ago and today accounts for two-thirds of our global search volume, but mobile and TV are coming on strong," said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO, blinkx. "We introduced our mobile API last summer, and already it has generated significant traction with partners like Samsung and EVRI. Providing an API for TV brings blinkx into the living-room and enables our partners to tap a flourishing audience as more consumers access Web video from their TVs. In addition to search, our technology offers personalization, discovery and recommendation capabilities to integrate Web video into the Connected TV experience - functionality that's critical in the lean back TV experience, when users are less inclined to type out search queries." The new API also enables blinkx to increase its distribution footprint across more screens and drive millions of new searches through its engine. blinkx already has several significant partners in the TV space including Amino Communications, known for its award-winning IPTV and Hybrid set-top boxes, as well as Belgacom and Miniweb. These and other companies are leveraging blinkx's vast video index and software to deliver a better search, navigation and personalization experience for consumers. | dickbush

11/11/2010 17:00 | Need to see a slightly better gross margin, and if the CEO is as good as his word we should almost see a break in to profit year end. | bookbroker
11/11/2010 16:10 | Looking good here now. Right on the underside of the 200wma. If it breaks will be above it for the first time in years. Could be the start of a long term move up here. | matt123d
