14/6/2019 08:20 | The Tanzanians have the asset and the stolen revenue. Skint AEX had very little to offer. Really. | gerryjames
13/6/2019 15:50 | John Bell. Gulfsands was cancelled and delisted and went on to Asset Match. That was a cost cutting exercise namely because there was a very big shareholder providing funding and wanting to take the company and it's stranded asset in Syria for themselves. AEX have an asset and a big shareholder. Is this being tee'd up for the same now they're not main listing. | whoppy
13/6/2019 15:42 | Well, it's positive in that it suggests some progress is being made with the govt's reviews which have no doubt been a major part of licence delays. It suggests renewal is moving closer, but of course the other big question, unanswered till we see it, are the terms.Malcy, who of course needs reading with large pinches of scepticism, was positive about yesterday's AGM. Whether that transmits into anything positive in terms of hard progress we will have to see. | greyingsurfer
13/6/2019 15:34 | Argus, Article not awfully positive though, is it? | glavey
13/6/2019 14:15 | Credit to Gaslady on LSE, hopefully this will bring some progress: hxxps://habarileo.co A. | the argus
13/6/2019 13:43 | Best to sell unless you will lose the lot | rangenoresources
13/6/2019 13:11 | Aminex have always purported an excellent relationship with the Tanzanian authorities. Yet after more than a decade of investment and many 10s of millions spent they find themselves in this difficult situation. They won't pay at Kilwani and they won't issue the license at Ruvuma. So what is the bloomin' point! :( In many ways I sympathize with the AEX management, but it's not helping my investment. TBH it's almost at write it off levels unfortunately. Disappointingly, Zub involvement doesn't seem to have improved the pace of progress. And untruths like 'accelerating the work program' to justify raising money to keep the lights on aren't helping investor confidence at all IMHO. As Mr Greyingsurfer has said lets all hope the Energy Ministry finally sign it off, which will change the outlook significantly here. GLA (you all deserve it!) | canigou2
13/6/2019 09:52 | Fwiw the two trades this morning of 1m shares that are reported as sells are not. They were my buys. | edgar222
13/6/2019 00:47 | Extrapolating, the share price should hit zero around January next year. :-) | glavey
12/6/2019 19:40 | I think there is really one big issue that is outstanding, and has been for sometime- the Ruvuma licence. Given that there's not a lot they can say. I see holding here as essentially a bet on the Energy Ministry finally signing it off. Realistically there isn't much they can say until that happens that hasn't been said before. | greyingsurfer
12/6/2019 17:32 | Presentation does have a slung together look about it. | haideralifool
12/6/2019 17:03 | does this ever go up? | deanroberthunt

07/6/2019 21:49 | Zubair will soon have it all for next to nothing. | wagi2
07/6/2019 21:33 | slip-sliding away... | skinwalker
05/6/2019 11:40 | Wentworth Resources who are a Tanzania focused gas producer are having a good day up 10% following purchases by their CEO and CFO as they have just come out of a closed period. They deal regularly with the Tanzanian authorities and receive their income from them. Hopefully this is demonstrating their confidence in this sector which should be good for AEX. | 888icb
04/6/2019 07:21 | 9-12 billion over 20 years. In BP's case. AEX 7 million. Just like that but without the contract. So far. | gerryjames
03/6/2019 10:52 | "Whatever happened to those days when a dodgy handshake would get you amazing results." In Africa, the dodgy handshake needs to contain lots of dollars. | joestalin |
