Dunderhead, I don't see myself as 'trapped' in the stock, as my plan has always been to hold the stock for as long as it takes, I am not a day trader so I don't need to sell the stock to keep my money moving. The world's most successful investors buy with a long term view, they never see themselves as trapped in a stock, they ride the lows and highs waiting for the highest highs before they sell.As for the Directors I'm happy with them, we need the new Directors because we are now a producer and soon will be a big producer, that requires a lot more work at board level than an exploration company, so in my view it's good to see Jay planning ahead for that. I also don't see Jay as mediocre, he has done far more in 4 years than BH did in 22, he can also only tell us facts when he has some to give us, he can't give loads of forward looking promises just to appease fickle impatient shareholders, he's also dependent on decisions made by the Tanzania Government and the timing of those decisions, and he's also dependent on third parties for completing the CPR, he probably wishes he was in control of those things so he could push them along, but he's not.

66086 errr I think sqz is the bagger today lol.
Haggis I do agree with you 're long term hold but it has to be admitted there are a lot of opportunity costs associated with being 'trapped' in holding the stock.
I am starting to get concerned the 'mgt' simply didn't appreciate the complexity of submitting a development plan which is very very worrying. I think everyone realises and may or may not (openly) admit the mgt are mediocre at best but unfortunately, generally speaking, this is what happens with the tiddlers. It is simply luck whether the initial company set up had a good team in the first place or as the assets progressed were able to recruit accordingly. At this stage I think the jury is still out because, what concerns me, is that the mgt realised their limitations and have had to recruit people who may be able to do the job but, we as shareholders now have really quite high g&a compared with revenue hence may have to pay for inflated mgt costs through placing? Christ on a bike look through the director list and really ask what value are we getting from some of that 'crew'.
Hence great investor unhappiness hence lse reaction.
All imho of course lol!!

763k buy reported from after the close yesterday, so as in previous days all the sells are going into a big buy order, go figure on the MM price walk down to fill said order.

Dunderhead, yes, you have to beat your buy price plus inflation. Either way nobody loses money unless they sell the stock at a loss, so idiots coming on here trying to scare people into selling at a loss, or trying to ridicule them, just shows how low shorters and short term traders will stoop to try and make some pocket money.Long term holders should stick to the long term hold and ignore the noise of the shorters and short term traders, as nothing has changed with the value of the assets since the results RNS at the end of September. Value will always out in the long run.

There's a statement at the bottom telling you stock can go up and down. I'd find it difficult to blame someone else for me losing my stake gambling on the future of somewhere like Tanzania.

Besides LT and others all had the chance to sell @7p. for a nice profit...But he went halibut fishing in the Arctic instead. PJ1 was able to recoup losses and leave with profit. And Phil Thompson made a packet.

You have to take into account the time value of money as well haggis?

You only lose money if you sell at a loss, if you hold the stock until the price recovers to above what you paid and then you sell, you make a profit, DUH!!

Someone with 26 million shares has joined so looks like a meeting at the very least will be called. So your 15 shares are not needed after all gerry, is your premium listing now worth more than your stock ?

Sorry Ron sold when you bought and side with Peter's comments. Waiting on developments. I don't think there is any news, as yet. And have never blamed the management as things are complicated doing business in Tanzania. I blame corruption for lack of development.

Anyone tracking the growing momentum over on lse to formally confirm shareholder dissatisfaction with the (lack of ) newsflow.

I haven't been following LSE, but what are they looking for? Do they want a report saying negotiations over the licences continue (as we all know), or are they looking for the company to make up some news?

Neither seems very desirable to me. We know not much is going to happen until the development licence is sorted, and there is perhaps news on extending the rest of the licences (or part of them). Since no news on those has been reported it's fairly clear that negotiations are ongoing, which is no real surprise - these things don't happen quickly.

So despite considerable speculation about a Tanz update before Ritson's SOLO webinar today....nothing.....Not even heavy breathing from Malcy.

Could get a bit messy for Neil today.

Even as someone who is not positive here. I must applaud the efforts of the lse board for the EGM attempt. Anyone with any sizeable holding should join them.

If Ron's done his research and thinks it's listed on AIM, who are we to argue. Afterall, doerx2 seems to agree with him, so he must be right.

Apparently 182.5million needed to call an EGM, already holders of almost 60million have indicated support.

I don't post over there but am considering whether my meagre few might be added.

Think I'll wait for another week or so. - Surely Jay's "shortly" must come soon?

yes bun agree, but assurances or security's will need to be in place before licence extension granted. maybe they will be switched from KN to Ntorya? i'm sure it will all be fine, but these things all seem to take a lot of time.

On the scale of things it's a fly on the behind of an elephant. They are sitting on billions at Ntorya.
