Dunno what you two were on about....

1. No point procrastinating as there was obviously no counterbid & 19.2p in Jan = FA.
2. Made a lot more by buying GAN with the proceeds, which is where investment is at.
3. Sure I look after myself. Not hanging around hoping you'll do it for me!

You will get 19.21p back if you hold, if you sell now you will get about 19.10 with the spread. If you hold there may be a counter offer which looks highly unlikely now.

Apologies as I'm not completely up to speed on recent developments. Is there any logic in holding these shares or is that simply not an option now?

Nothing in the Wiki profile links him with Michinoko. To me the hairs on the back of my neck say the finger points a lot closer to home.Q

Another Honors List.

Again no knighthood.
Not even for "Services to himself" where he certainly excelled far beyond the norm.

Maybe HRH is also a hugely frustrated PI.

But we will never know because ML promised to keep to himself individuals' avatars and holdings ;)

"Companies in the Llanos Basin with similar-sized assets have been turning down (gross) offers of US$2bn, he adds."

...Quite clearly nonsense, when you look at GPRK's m/cap, acreage (pre-AMER) & their production

Interesting to see where Wardle re-surfaces. I have my suspicions. Maybe he got the better of Clarke - the rush to sell, the whole process? Etc.

Something else he plucked from the air then.

https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/amp/news/214473So this year we went from everything to nothing without any explanation from the board. Was it all puff? Was the fact that the oleoducto never even approached capacity an indication that every other facet of the business was also extremely overstated ? They missed every target and deadline and I believed the excuses because I wanted to. Sucker punched by getting too involved in the narrative and not rigorously following the numbers and the charts. Yep the clarity of 20/20 hindsight. Compliments of the season to you all and thanks ML for your efforts Q

Afternoon all

Thought it would be appropiate to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Have got to know quite a few people on here over the years and a few I call friends. Some are dearly departed, namely Brian (Valentine), Ken (Trotting) and Rod (Rodspotty) but I am sure they still peep over the wall now and again to see whats happening. I would like to thank all those posters that pledged their NO vote, sadly is wasnt enough, when you go up against the board you seldome win. Have been invested here off and on for over 10 years so it will be strange not to look in and catch up with dozens of posts.

Over and out

Well it would seem all the decisions are made with AMER so would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Xmas and hopefully a prosperous New Year with any assets received from the AMER buyout.

SABRE- My thoughts exactly, with some of the lies and lack of effective regulation I may as well put my money on a horse than invest in AIM.

This is my last AIM share and yes another loss, hooray lol. Made the decision 4 years ago to stop playing the AIM casino. I thought at the start I was investing not gambling. The only real winners are the directors and their friends.

If it is of any help I am taking my money at end of January and investing in the LSE main market. No more aim companies for me except the ones I am already invested in.

What do do now. Do I leave investing in AIM as the casino it really is. Can't think of any tiddlers worth a punt and after Amerisur do I believe any BoD again?

But surely by now, if nothing else, you've learned not to trust our BoD's stated targets.
