And Wardle didn’t even come to the meeting - maybe he and Clarke have fallen out over this?

Yes you're right, churlish of me. I'll just go bank the remaining third of my pension pot and wish a Merry Christmas to those who strove so mightily to make it so small Q

I've a different take on this "fire sale".

Could JW have experienced a lightbulb moment after the sudden demise of Dana Coffield, and thought that enough is enough?? Without JW, as we've all understood over the years, there is little experience, and we owe all that we currently have to his "nose" for the black stuff. I wish him well in what is likely to be retirement, I feel he's earned it.

Without him GC was going to be all at sea, so thought lets bank what we've got. Although a shame we never got to that figure held in JW's back pocket at the 2019 AGM.

A lot of folks have learned a lot, especially me.

Over 13 years with this I've come to appreciate very many of you here (and departed) for your input, be it online here, offline by email or in the flesh at Ruby nights or AGMs.

Thanks, I'll miss you.

I'm not seeking regular penpals but if any long(ish) termers who I have not had recent email contact with, want to keep in occasional touch please email me in confidence at tonyrelaxes@hotmail.com including adding their avatar.

I'll reply acknowledging, but your identity and email address will remain with me alone. No spamming, ramping or unsolicited views and opinions then or thereafter - I promise!

I’ve a piece of paper in my pocket with a number on it, is a red flag
Board saying offer undervalues the business is as red flag
Board giving themselves options without hard targets is a red flag 🚩

Lessons learned for long term holds. Look at the number of large holders and the balance of power carefully, too much in the hands of too few is a red flag. Greedy options to members of the board are a red flag. Boards that don't listen to shareholders are a red flag. Promises of progress that over promise and under deliver are a red flagRights issues that dilute holdings need careful scrutiny Moving Agms to inaccessible locations is a red flag Never give the board the benefit of the doubt, they probably don't deserve it. Anything I've missed? Q

There's one upside to this result, there's no chance of the AGM returning to St Mellons!!

Curious.....seems the GPRK share price was waiting for the vote. Even more curious, somebody dropped a million shares onto the market yesterday

As the BoD has given voting figures, for the sake of completeness (and possibly a better understanding of events) would they please now give them for the last AGM in May.

Many thanks to all those who stepped up and voted No It looks like we were outgunned as before. Messrs Clarke and Wardle have done a great disservice to the investment community. After this experience, small ventures looking for investors are going to be greeted with great cynicism Q

Talking of the law...Newton's third law...For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, so to counter Midas we can congratulate AMER BOD for restoring the balance to the equation, or for all our LTH's loyalty..two fingers from our leaders. The outline formed by the 5 year chart is of an animal with it's snout in the trough..our trough chaps. May Christmas spirit wash away the nasty taste the BOD have left in our mouths, and a better 2010 for all contributors to this BB, whether those who had no faith or we delusional fools who held too long.

So, there you have it.
A landslide victory for Geopark.
Amerisur had a great future once. Value slowly eroded by weak, lazy and overpaid management. I'm sure Wardle, Clarke and co will enjoy their rewards for failure though.

This parrot is now officially dead.
