14/11/2019 15:14 | Others can address that question TD, I was considering whether to drill given the sale. | ![]() fadilz
14/11/2019 13:59 | Fadilz. So why isn't the cash pile going up to account for the Capex that was fully funded for all those drills, and of course the reduction in outgoings/earnings/p | ![]() tyler durden1
14/11/2019 13:45 | Difficult one to quantify but on the whole I am with Lucy on this. Consider a 20% chance of success on a single well on Put-9, vs a perhaps 50-60% chance of oil somewhere on Put9/12, after 3-4 drills. If all you had time for was one well would you drill it? Without more detailed information we just have to trust that they are doing the right thing. | ![]() fadilz
14/11/2019 13:37 | Amerisur have some leases with proven oil, so drilling one there would be unlikely to fail. If that was the case then ONGC would drill, but I doubt they would get away with saying its another duster. | ![]() tyler durden1
14/11/2019 13:33 | Well, you might consider what the effect on price could be if we drill another dusty hole....and then stop carping on about it. | ![]() lucyp00p
14/11/2019 12:34 | "Why carp on about it". Well because Amerisur in not progressing drills at all, again demonstrates it doesn't keep to schedules and where ONE success in one of the drills would appreciably affect the value. It gives the distinct impression Amerisur do not want the share price to be higher. You can understand bidders, potentially ONGC and Oxy not progressing with drills as its in their interest not to, but Amerisur, after all the complaints about them coming up with drilling comments that are never fulfilled? Makes no sense. It should be remembered too that the drilling campaigns are what the BoD get paid for, and what the CAPEX that is fully funded is for? When they don't take place then someone isn't having to work, and the Capex not expended should be fully reflected in a much higher cash pile, but doesn't look like it | ![]() tyler durden1
14/11/2019 12:30 | To my mind the management and major holders and bidders all know the company is sold in principal, hence the lack of operational progress. It’s been that way since the FSP started so why carp on about it? Just wait for the figure. | ![]() davwal
14/11/2019 12:20 | Why at so large a premium? | ![]() pauliewonder
14/11/2019 12:19 | they were UT uncrossing from auction | moneylender
14/11/2019 12:17 | Recent RNS’s are indicating the sells are being mopped up by our larger investors. Hopefully something about to break. | dayway123
14/11/2019 12:06 | Well MMs just turned a red day into nearly 4 percent rise in a matter of seconds... | ![]() fatgreek
14/11/2019 12:06 | Well that's a weird couple of trades 496 and 11 at around 19p substantially higher than t current ask. Why?Wonder if that's an indication of an RNS | ![]() pauliewonder
14/11/2019 11:58 | MrX. probably not correct, but it certainly makes it look like Amerisur have gone out of their way to stop the share price rising. | ![]() tyler durden1
14/11/2019 11:25 | I really have never understood why this company announces drilling programmes which should deliver a substantial uplift and then never delivers. Similarly why it has stopped all share price enhancing activities sine it advised it was up for sale. I'm left with the belief that there is some other motive that we are not being advised about. It makes me very uncomfortable holding this share. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Other than how poor at communicating the company is. | ![]() mrx001
