02/11/2019 16:24 | That hope has kept me looking in every day for easily 15 years. I'll actually miss typing Amer into the search when it's finally gone. If it does go for £1 I might get a tattoo of the Amer snail to remind me that patience is a virtue! | ![]() 3roach

02/11/2019 05:33 | Got to be SOME news soon: 20 September 2019 CPO-5 2P reserves estimated to be 9.5 MMBO (as at 31 July 2019) o Increased to reflect production history that indicates larger oil in place and higher recovery factors o Further drilling activity on CPO-5 is scheduled for H2 2019, commencing with the Indico-2 appraisal well. The 30-day well is planned to increase production and reserves with the potential to extend the Oil Water Contact o Production started from the Indico discovery in the CPO-5 block in January o 2019 Working Interest Production to end July of 0.43 MMBO The signs surely look very promising: 18th October In Colombia’s onshore Llanos Basin, the ONGC Videsh-operated Well Sol-1 on the CPO-5 block encountered 8 m of oil-bearing sands at a depth of 2852 m. The well confirmed the extent of oil pay on the southern portion of the block following the company’s Mariposa-1 and Indico-1 discoveries in 2017–2018. Those wells are currently on production. ONGC Videsh holds a 70% interest in the CPO-5 block. Perhaps the results are going to be a major factor and this is the cause of the delay? | ![]() lauders
01/11/2019 19:02 | Paraguay San Pedro - 100% This is the really exiting part of the portfolio for the short term. This quarter the Jaguarete-1 well is planned targeting an risked potential resource of 57 mmbo and unrisked 480 mmbo at a cost of $10 million. Investec believe this licence could be worth between 15p (risked) and 147p (unrisked) in the future. If successful it will be a game changer in the region and could generate further interest in Paraguay as more companies look to acquire exploration blocks there. Amerisur also hold permits of Curupayty and some Western Blocks in Paraguay, results of San Pedro exploration will drive any work here. 01/11/2019 15:27 | M&P called it an ‘initial proposal’ in their RNS. No one is saying it was a serious or firm offer. It was an initial attempt to make a baseline with which to start a negotiation IMO. | ![]() king_baller
01/11/2019 14:59 | The 17p bid was not a firm offer. It was only a proposal of a possible . offer. Its not tge same as a firm offer ! | ![]() underhill2
01/11/2019 14:03 | Very tightly held as everyone holding knows what’s happening. A small flurry of buys would send this rocketing. Even in the incredibly unlikely scenario there is minimal interest from a major, we can expect a significantly better second offer from M&P. The 17p bid was a low ball offer only to try to set a baseline in further negotiations. Exciting times. | ![]() king_baller

01/11/2019 09:26 | Clearly the pref terms will be all-share, cash offer - anyone pi$$ing about with complex frog offers at this late stage will be sent to the back of the queue! 24-27p has to be the min target range. Counter bids could see another 20-30% on that. Poss, but unlikely to be more than 35p IMO Need to realistic esp in this market, but 25p is a bit of a steal, reckon our share of CPO5 alone should really be more in that ballpark! But there you have it. Either way someone’s gonna wind up with a lot for not a lot...A mirror of what AMER achieved a little while back. | knackers
01/11/2019 09:03 | The current share price is clearly saying 40p wont happen. I will be happy for anything over 25p. Yes we all know its worth a lot more but cash is king and any cash offer over 25p will satisfy me. Not keen on any offer in shares only or partly shares/part cash | ![]() underhill2 |
