SL: That's the same position as me. Made a loss earlier in the year and thought there were better options. I like the longer term prospects of the company but market sentiment was negative and that's sometimes difficult to change. I think the longer term prospects here are still very good but now there is the potential of a very nice short term boost. I think we will see an offer come in the next few weeks and an overall acquisition will happen. I think anything under 25p is good value both short and long term. Good luck

So after the comments from the BOD ref the derisory offer does this now make this one of those 'no brainers' whilst under 20p?

Thinking hard about buying here, I don't generally go back to shares that have burnt me in the past but this does look inviting....

bigwavedave: seems very convenient doesnt it? I reckon someone was in the know prior to the announcement. I am surprised that the share price hasnt gone up today given the positive RNS and the inference that there could be up to 6 possible bidders. Just hope that the next big RNS is a concrete offer, which I am sure it will be.

Meanwhile, does nobody think it strange that after Friday's news the share price rose but stuck at 16.5p which, as it turned out on Monday morning, just about matched the low-ball offer of 17p from Maurel&Prom. Co-incidence? Surely not.
