20/7/2019 10:29 | So presently valued at £200M.Of course we have quite a bit of cash in there so really what mightc a full take out price be valued at.I believe that it will involve shares in the co taking us out plus cash. So for a bit of week end fun are we worth A £250M B £400-500M C £500M - £75M D £750M My view? £500M B GLAHS | ![]() billthebank
20/7/2019 10:02 | If it goes I think it'll be in the range of 25-35p, but I think a part sale of assets is more likely. | ![]() danieldruff2
20/7/2019 09:50 | Surely the price of director buys is irrelevant, depending on what the full terms of the acquisition are e.g. employment with the acquirer, shares in the acquirer etc. Perhaps large shareholders interests may be better aligned with PI's? | ![]() haideralifool
20/7/2019 09:48 | Im one of those investors. Its been a very frustrating investment. My main gripe has been the slow progress here and the continual targets not being met over the years. Lots of promises but targets never achieved. Communication has always been an issue here. Anything over 20p and I will be happy with. Hopefully it will be more but I have my doubts and the closing share price yesterday indicates tgat as well. Hopefully in the next few months this will have come to a satisfactory conclusion and we can all move on | ![]() underhill2
20/7/2019 09:28 | Apart from the most recent Director Buys, all of them have been made prior to Ind-1, evac from OBA and firming up production on other wells. We had a climb from 10p to 22p but prior to yesterday's news the price returned to a level touching RH's final sell price. I just cannot see any of the directors being happy to sell circa 20 when the fundamentals have improved so much since last year. Just watch ONGC ramp up their drilling campaign once AMER ceases to exist. Many investors seem happy to roll over just for the relief of being out of an investment that has caused them so much frustration. | ![]() leas1
20/7/2019 09:14 | Just a thought, but could Tracarta, aka John Wardle, be one of the interested parties in terms of certain assets..? | ![]() davwal

20/7/2019 09:00 | I mentioned that GTE had issued senior loan notes a couple of months ago and they also cancelled some earlier loan notes - I calculate they raised in net terms approx. $174m. Also worth considering stakes of major shareholders in AMER as from 29/3/19 major shareholders with >3% ie institutions total by my calcs 45.67% and then consider a number of holdings under 3% like Slater Investments, furthermore 16.23% not in public hands. I am hopeful with potentially multiple parties involved this will be a competitive process, the operating areas in demand and institutional holders having a say. | ![]() yasrub
20/7/2019 08:35 | OK so looking at the figures: April 19: $44.1m cash in bank Sale of PUT-8: $19.1m Total Cash (assuming nothing generated since April 2019 from operations): $63.2m (or £50.5m) So taking cash away, the current share price prices everything at £150m for a producing company that owns a number of prospective licences and a pipeline. The outlook looks very good and I think a buyer would be well aware of that. Could see £500m as the floor to any offer, which would be 150% above todays price. Absolutely fantastic upside potential. | ![]() pauliewonder
20/7/2019 08:27 | The directors are going to look like right plonkers if they accept an offer for less than the price they recently purchased shares. Especially since the news flow has been positive (value enhancing) this year. So 20p must be the minimum. Shares at 16.5p because some people who bought in at 11 - 13p banked some profits, in part ahead of the weekend. I’d expect shares to trade around 18 - 19p next week whilst we wait on news. Sol-1? The follow up well is high impact so how does that work re bid timing? | ![]() ppceh
20/7/2019 08:19 | Lauders, I hadn't forgotten about all those directors buys either having topped up after seeing the directors topups at 17-18p and the very encouraging newsflow so am expecting this to go higher as I'm sure they will want to secure a return on their topups! I wouldn't be surprised if the takeout price per share ends up being about 20p but that's just my view based on the history of the company, production and prospects, and director buys. | ![]() bountyhunter
20/7/2019 08:15 | A concern of mine was that yesterday rise in share price was much lower than I would have expected taking into account what would constitute a re asonable potential offer. I would have expected loads more buys. At the current share price its a bargain entry point. This makes me think that the real buying had not yet started or the takeout price is going to be considerably lower than what is being predicted by brokers and other advisors. I would have expected the share price to have risen to at least 20p yesterday. It makes me think that final take out price should it be a takeover is going to be much lower than most expect. | ![]() underhill2

20/7/2019 06:11 | Great news yesterday! I hope this is the start of the re-rating many were hoping for (some were expecting) here and wish all the long term holders especially the very best. Thought I would re-post my post from January about the director buys. Lauders - 12 Jan 2019 - 01:11:36 - 15957 of 21368 More for my own interest but worth sharing is a record of director buys from 2017: 2019 1) 02 January 2019, Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 428,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 17.516 pence per share, for a total cost of £74,968 2) 02 January 2019 Dana Coffield, Independent Non-Executive Director, acquired 469,850 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at an average price of 17.96 pence per share, for a total cost of £84,385 3) 02 January 2019 Stephen Foss, Independent Non-Executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 200,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at an average price of 17.5 pence per share, for a total cost of £35,000 2018 1) 28 November 2018, Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 687,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 13.10 pence per share, for a total cost of £89,997 2) 26 November 2018 Giles Clarke, Chairman of Amerisur, acquired 500,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at an average price of 13.743 pence per share, for a total cost of £68,714 3) 23 November 2018, Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 8,125,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 12.30728 pence per share, for a total cost of £999,96 4) 23 November 2018 Chris Jenkins, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 150,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at an average price of 11.96 pence per share, for a total cost of £17,944 5) 23 November 2018 Elodie Grant Goodey, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 36,959 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 13.50 pence per share, for a total cost of £4,989. 6) 22 May 2018, Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 395,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 20.25 pence per share, for a total cost of £79,987 7) 18 April 2018 Dana Coffield, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 216,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 15.82 pence per share, for a total cost of £34,171 8) 17 April 2018, Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 322,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 15.5 pence per share, for a total cost of £49,909 9) 16 April 2018 Dana Coffield, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 233,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 15.11 pence per share, for a total cost of £35,206 10) 16 April 2018 Chris Jenkins, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 200,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 15.06 pence per share, for a total cost of £30,120 2017 1) 30 October 2017 Dana Coffield, Independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 151,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 19.77 pence per share, for a total cost of £29,853 2) 23 October 2017 Alex Snow, Senior Independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 500,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 19 pence per share, for a total cost of £95,000 3) 25 September 2017 Chris Jenkins, independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 100,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 17.25 pence per share, for a total cost of £17,250 4) 25 September 2017 Tracarta Limited, a company in which John Wardle (Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur) has an interest, acquired 1,200,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 16.5 pence per share, for a total cost of £198,00 I didn't see ANY sells and to me it makes a buy price of anywhere below 20.25 pence (highest paid on 22nd May 2018) seem very sensible. Still time and funds willing I would be joining the BOD after the latest news! So anywhere north of 20.30p would get them into profit by differing degrees. The one 8 million buy by Tracarta in November 2018 was a great one! Somehow I think anything around 20-25p would be a disaster for many shareholders who have kept the faith and as the last RNS indicated it has the best interests of shareholders in mind I would GUESS that a minimum of 30p would be the figure. Certainly hope so anyway if it comes down to an outright sale/takeover! | ![]() lauders
