17/6/2019 12:50 | They moved the drill pad causing a delay of 2 weeks on top of the 4 week down time in between drills | ![]() jp2011
17/6/2019 12:49 | Guys is Put 8 ready to drill permits in place I am sure that i have seen it was when we had GT as the partner on the block ,cannot find this now but if it is this could be our first well with Oxy not a bad result if it is. | ![]() wskill
17/6/2019 12:48 | Own pad, 11% and now with an access route for trucks (if the drill can get in, then the access is reasonable) and probably some storage facility. Good post Knackers with the LL34 comparisons (albeit that is heavy oil and so harder to flow) | ![]() charlieeee
17/6/2019 12:22 | I am right in saying that this Sol well was drilled from the Indico Drill Pad. In which case it should be easy to do Flow Test and if it does flow, can be hooked up and produced with little or no construction work. Or was it drilled from its own drill pad, in the middle of nowhere. | ![]() 11_percent
17/6/2019 12:19 | The principle objective with Sol-1 was to reassure re CPO-5 prospectivity after Calao was a duster. We are now effectively waiting on reservoir quality. Peel Hunt claim Pavo-1 8.2p/sh unrisked. I assume this follows Indico-2? | ![]() ghhghh
17/6/2019 11:31 | If you are short FS you are a silly boy. 30ft and in LS will be light oil ;o) no mention of water cut. 40ft net is pretty much meat and drink in the Llanos Basin and could be a surprisingly solid producer. Indico OTOH is exceptional...as we are about to realise. Find the trap/closure and find the oil though reservoir-sands depth will vary with the geology as evident vs the Indico find. Aguila is as good as a cert given the proximity to Sol and 3D closure, but there is something far bigger between Mariposa and Indico, few seem able to grasp - evident by OWC and consistent long term deliverability/flow vs narrow perforation intervals. This can be nothing other than a v large field with connectivity highly likely. Then there’s Pavo ;o) and we then fill the trend to the NE. Second CPO5 rig could be the next RNS imho. | knackers
17/6/2019 11:29 | AMER: "We are pleased to report that Sol has encountered potential net oil pay. Although smaller than the oil column encountered by our previous discoveries it demonstrates the potential for further prospectivity across CPO-5". Peel Hunt say Sol 1 is worth 1p unrisked. RBC said 'attention has turned to Sol-1, a step-out well, targeting a modest 4mmbbl structure that could add ~1p/share to our Amerisur NAV. Additional potential upside could, however, come from an extension of the play fairway, updip, to the south'. | ![]() ghhghh
17/6/2019 11:27 | Oxy takeover next year?. | ![]() bryet
17/6/2019 11:20 | Remains to be seen if it turns out to be commercial but the result as it stands is still pretty reasonable. If another oiler, such as PPC, had a similar result, they’d be shouting it from the rooftops and their share price would almost certainly react more positively than AMER’s today. | ![]() chopper harris1
17/6/2019 11:13 | Come on guys you cannot blame AMER for the wording of the sol 1 update this has been agreed with the operator ,if its not worth testing why spend the extra cash on a flow test. | ![]() wskill

17/6/2019 10:07 | How many times has it been said all will come good in the next 12 to 18 months?. | ![]() bryet
17/6/2019 09:57 | PUT 8 farm out as expected. SOL drill had to happen to fulfill obligations and a bonus there is oil. Loads of action to come for next 18 months. Remember no OWC found at indico and possibly not confirmed at mariposa. If the OWC at indico is much lower the market will then account for it. Remember the article back in February, worth a read again. The seismic action may even eclipse indico bounty. Oh and a good result at plat 22 in near term would be a bonus. Great news for those that are able to buy and hold. As can be seen from overboard negative poster responses once again trying to peddle this news as bad news but well done if your able to make a few quid which is why we're all here. | ![]() treasure
17/6/2019 09:45 | Amer tweeting just now. Logging operations on the #Sol-1 exploration well on Block #CPO5 are now complete. 26.5ft net oil pay in the LS3 and 10.5ft net oil pay in the LS1 sands of the Une formation were identified. Short term testing operations are now underway #AMER #OIL | moneylender
17/6/2019 09:02 | ghgh Disappointment without knowledge of whether it will produce too? So many drills throughout the world end up with finding no oil, this has found oil. The problem is that the nature of Amerisur's communication will lead many to believe it is duff because Amerisur have a habit of coming out with an RNS, then kicking something into the long grass rather than coming out with what they know at the same time. Yes there are times as in PUT8 deal a really good deal where Amerisur cannot release details until they are firmed up, but many times they just seem to kick what they don't like in the long grass which might seem to some like a naughty schoolchild hoping no-one notices. | ![]() foiledagain
17/6/2019 08:58 | Why is anyone 'disappointed' with today's SOL RNS? It was always going to be smaller than other two. Question is whether as expected? We don't know yet. | ![]() ghhghh
17/6/2019 08:55 | Will now see solid upside from here in the run-up to Indico appraisals. By year end we could easily have doubled our net CPO5 reserves. Good. As pointed out, Sol has hit a solid enough interval of LIGHT OIL. Good. Aguila is a smaller structure and is significantly de-risked by Sol find; they can come back at their leisure. Good. AMER and OXY now the closest of friends. A smart choice on many fronts. Good. Another measured RNS, fits a pattern from the new Comms man. Good. | knackers
17/6/2019 08:53 | Today's transaction on PUT-8 was likely part of the original agreement, but obviously they couldn't put that out in an RNS prior. Now with so much farmed out may be less administrative costs should be considered at Amerisur along with less bountiful awards for very little. If JW was attributed with the success at CPO-5 then its hard to see how ONGC can be playing a game on the assets as many here suggest he has been the key man with regards drilling decisions If he's attributed for the success he must hold his hand out for the failures, although we do not know whether this last drill is a failure, as nett pay zone was found. | ![]() foiledagain

17/6/2019 08:42 | Conspiracy theory time? Years ago Amerisur played a blinder with duff well after duff well on Plat. Result Ecopetrol and Repsol gave it away...Suddenly it started to produce decent oil. Is ONGC doing the same with next step a sale of CPO-5 as ONGC offer to take it off our hands ....only to see it produce large quantities of oil. They know JW's logic so is it too far fetched for them to apply it themselves. Two drills cost peanuts to them, but a large find is worth so much more. | ![]() tyler durden1
17/6/2019 08:41 | i go now coz some of yous ave to have a sleep now | ![]() fsawatcher |
