The share price at least seems to be showing resilience against the high volume selling. Any chartists with a view?
Anybody know who the seller is?

Not me, I took a few more today (and a couple of weeks ago) despite having declared no more-never a while back.
Ah well, it’s got to turn eventually given the undeniably solid asset base, Oxy doxi etc...

The company recently spud the Platanillo-26 infill well targeting a potentially undrained area of the Platanillo field identified on seismic. The well is drilling ahead at 7,800ft with a target depth of 9,350ft.

=============

So, Platanillo-26 is already at 7,800ft...…..and going to 9,350ft.

Will soon be complete and producing.

TD, same here, also directors piled in at around that level.

Several better judges than me pointed this out to me, the timing wasn't right (for me) but still think it will come good. My average is a tad over 17pps now, and I have bucket loads.

Are we both not over committing to south America here! :)

I took a position here recently as I think this is good value and depressed due to sentiment rather than fundamentals.

Looks like a buy. This does look cheap at these levels if they can maintain 6000 BOEPD.

td1, potential suitors "do the rounds" with institutional holders to test the water ... nothing gets declared.

No such thing as an informal offer. The bit you have quoted is not relevant to a bid.

All offers have to be notified to shareholders. When a company is notified of an offer formal or otherwise it has to immediately issue an announcement giving the terms and conditions of the offer even if they think its derisory they cannot reject it or not convey that to shareholders.

the bit you quote about disclosure of trading information.

Morning ghhghh

I am very interested on this point - their past buying activity has been high around this level. I am uncertain on closed periods - does that include if drilling ?

Oxy are a little preoccupied with another takeover ! - but AMER surely look attractive at this level - at the end of the day management only hold 5% so it would be the institutions that would decide.

ts2 - when something is undervalued for a prolonged period, and remain unloved after turning a corner, it becomes a target ... much cheaper than drilling for oil at current share price

Did anyone ask re whether directors will be buying again if so cheap? Be interesting to find out if they are inside on something since they are normally regular buyers
