Good call Moneylender on AAOG I didn't buy unfortunately ended up buying another chunk in hum and here so not bad picks, looking at 1 gold 1 oil company digging into them one risky other take out by BHP sometime down the line as they recently acquired 45m stake in sol. But with good data in USA regarding jobs /earnings cant see gold going too high

Thanks Foiled. I was following the pipeline's development as I waiting in the wings for RH to go. With Put-14 block being secured a second pipeline via the river would make sense but my understanding is that if they go ahead with it then it will be in approx. 2 yrs.
Exciting times ahead for holder's despite any poor production figures that may or may not be as expected.

FA I think we are aligned and on the same page, except my TO price has gone up substantially from a quid.

JW is very familiar with the geo at CPO-5, the old Emerald block that he discovered Campo Rico is next door.

GC is a master at TO prices, he gets people to perceive the price before it happens, he has done it several times before.

If ONGC dont want CPO then we have a backer in OCY, that would be something. Dont forget Ecuador either. GC is well connected down there and they need investment.

2019 is going to be pivotal.

doughboy, will be a good party.
avesome, did you follow me into AAOG now up 200%
Lbokes, he is a 80 yr old billionaire, when I am a billionaire I will tell you.
TGG, its on the back burner I think, maybe a bit of water as well
FA, do the matths for outsourcing thru OBA they are phenonimal, cant spell that!
Lbrokes again, AAOG after mondays RNS poss, also GGP a gold miner in Oz. I'm in both.
Leas1, outsourcing the whole basin's oil will be profitable.

PS the bubbly is brilliant, I had forgotten how it tasted!

Edit: WL you have a voicemail.

leas. it was more tongue in cheek, as the first one was really hyped without many holders knowing of the limitations/bottlenecks and pumping station improvements necessary, and where options were awarded for the project before it was even operational hence my comment on the level of enthusiasm. Nothing more. If we need another pipeline and have the oil for it and it saves or generates more profits, then its good news.

Foiled, why do you think a second pipeline would not be welcomed? Are you referring to the one which may be constructed from the Putumayo River as mentioned in the recent RNS? There will be the capacity to earn revenue from the thru put of non Amer oil (for now) Also makes transportation more secure. Not disagreeing with your comments but just wonder why an additional pipeline would not be welcomed by shareholders.

roll. They will or should have in hand the Capex that was due to be expended on drills that have not taken place, and those that never will be costed to Amerisur being picked up by Occidental. Obviously more Capex will go to CPO-5, but quite possibly self funded by production from Indico even during testing. Would still like to see an Amerisur wholly owned asset be successful and that conceivably could potentially include transporting other companies oil, although the more oil Amerisur produce for their own pipeline(s), the more profit, but I suspect comments on another pipeline will no be greeted with the same level of enthusiasm as previously was the case.

If Pintadillo was good news I suspect we would have seen more news on it, but more in hope than anything else wanting to be pleasantly surprised

Wonder what's going on at Pintadillo? Not seen any mention of a follow-on well, so maybe not that much......

I'm not convinced AMER will have added much to their cash pile during 2018. H1 saw a small rise because of a tax credit but since then poo has fallen significantly and production has fallen in the H2 months we are aware of. Falling poo will have reduced high-oil-price premium payable to government too on the positive side.

We've seen a welcome significant bounce from recent lows, the positive drilling result, forward drilling plans, the farm-out & director buys but I suspect Q4 production figures will put the mockers on share price before more new drilling news boosts it higher again. All IMHO of course.

Soco (SIA) looks as if it is ripe for a bid as well.
Plenty of consolidation coming Oil Sector this year - and across the board for UK listed companies I suspect given sterling.

Down-averaging isn't for the faint-hearted, and you have to follow your gut. But instincts aside, without Rex's selling down, none of that would've been poss. What a guy!

Moneylender - yes me too.
It's strange sometimes how things work out by chance. Because if it were not for the RH situation, I would not have been able to take up my recent position in Amer.
Looking great here now for 2019.
I think this will be worth £1!

Well the first week of 2019 comes to a close I for one am very grateful to Mr Harbour. My average is now well in profit as I am sure most of you are.

Bubbly tonight I think, I can afford it now again.

Edit: Doughboy we are getting closer mate.

Plenty more wonky trades going through even at the 11th hour but further steady consolidation. All good.

2P, after I saw the '60p target' I'd pretty much already given up on them...

Hi Westie, happy new year. I'm pretty happy right now thanks, as I'm sure you must be. Martin's post is a historical recap, not an excuse to continue banging on about the bogeyman. Foiled, as we have agreed over the occasional pint, does make some very good and well informed posts, unlike my frequent verbally incontinent blather, however, he does have a very peculiar fixation with the guy Harbour, who, much as he would like to think of as Amerisur's nemesis, has, in the long run, proved to be a godsend to board members and shareholders - Fat Greek and Big Bas excluded, who have filled their collective boots while Rex has emptied his.I am in total agreement with the post, albeit recalling that the elation post pipeline, which drove the share price up to 60p plus, was subsequently tempered significantly by the reality of only sending thimblefulls of oil down the bloody thing. How we laughed.
