The cynic in me suggests that with the burst of good news and very positive spin in RNSs that RH is no longer of interest to the BoD after the months of apparent news desert or negative spin even in our own RNS's with the exception being CPO-5 where news emanates from the operator ONGC to Amerisur.

At 10p, CPO5 was still much more speculative. Every well helps definite what's actually there, which appears to be 'quite a lot'

Sji i don't think that is true. If you look and listen back at previous interviews our CEO has been heavily involved in CPO-5.

Whilst I cannot complain with the recent share price performance due to the fantastic news coming out from Indico-1, I would be interested to know what other things have been going on at Amerisur. I understand that not being the operators of Indico-1, Amerisur practically does nothing except for reaping the rewards for their 30% shareholding in the field. However, I would expect that in the meantime, Amerisur has made good progress in respect of all their other drilling commitments. Do you think that we would get some positive updates regarding their own operations on Monday? Really hope so!

surprised enquest premier and tullow not been taken out I no they carry a lot of dept but they are 50% discounted at the moment if oil price doesn't get back to $70 they may have no option to take a offer

This is a takeover target. Ophir and Faroe both in receipt of offers and I suspect those two are just the start of significant M & A activity across the oil and gas sector...why explore and all the costs-risks that this involves when you can buy reserves at cheap prices?

Presumably ONGC Videsh/Amerisur will have to determine the best commercial way to get the oil to market. Mariposa-1 product was/is effectively being sold at the gate while the well remained under LTT. There is as yet no indication regarding the method of sale for Indico oil, but presumably the same sort of contract will apply initially - but they’re gonna need a bigger truck...
