26/9/2018 11:55 | TGG: perhaps if you knew about oil exploration you would have a better understanding. One reason I warned about being too optimistic on the latest drill, where some were treating it as a success before the bit turned. As for indico you must remember that in all likelihood ONGC will want the other 30% if it is the important discovery they they announced it as. How much would the value go up if they drilled a well in close proximity to Mariposa, where the likelihood would be hitting the same reservoir, where with much greater perforated area of the pay zone Mariposa could have done 11,000bopd? In that situation a decision to drill further afield might be strategically better for them. Even Indico is not the be all and end all...its just another part of oil and gas exploration and production, where corporate interest may be considered alongside geology and production. You only have to look at the early days of Amerisur to see that....the other owners of Plat seeing persistent problems on Alea....only resolved after Amerisur owned 100% of it. | foiledagain
26/9/2018 11:49 | putting the current valuation into context....PMO recently sold 4kbopd for $250m | deanroberthunt
26/9/2018 11:22 | the odds are broadly that at best they get 8-10/16, norm would be 6-8, at worst 3-4 | deanroberthunt
26/9/2018 11:21 | they are drilling 16 wells from cash....which will be replenished by fcf concurrently... even if just 3-4 came in good, this would increase reserves and production, with Oil at multi year highs. it's not like COPL, where a well comes up dry and so they have to place to get more cash which significantly dilutes shareholders.... | deanroberthunt
26/9/2018 11:04 | moneylender stop talk you intenstine out of you mouth coz it stinkin we knows you wants in cheapa but you spoatin doareer everywheres ere wot company say yestedday - read it and dogest throughrougjly so it go to yous brains they drillin 3 wells at cp05 innit, mirraparribba-1 comin and seismic and aguila and sol and it jus keep comin dunnit but yous fink all hang on indico and that it so you being daft as a basil brush mate let rex do his fing and then yous get in yous dont ave to spoat poo poos all time "We are excited by the progress being made at Indico-1, the second of our exploration wells in our current drilling programme, which we believe has the potential to add significant production volumes and reserves to Amerisur. The programme in CPO-5 also includes a further two exploration wells, Aguila-1 and Sol-1, targeting separate structures before the end of the year. "With respect to Miraparriba-1, I understand that the project has a high probability of proceeding as originally planned, drilling from the Cohembi 2 location. This agreement will allow the well to be drilled before the end of the year. "I also look forward to the results of the new seismic in Put-12 and Put-9 over our important Coendu prospect. Initial processing workflows indicate excellent quality in terms of signal strength and frequency content and we look forward to integrating this new data into our current models. The environmental licensing process, including the collection of on-site data, continues on target, with drilling scheduled in 2019." | fsawatcher

26/9/2018 10:41 | Thought I would look back at a few RNS's to see what I could gleem. Very interesting EOY targets MISSED, considering we are at circa 5000 bopd atm including CPO-5 that didnt come on stream until 4 May 2017, giving us a net 1000 barrels per day. 8 June 2018 The Platanillo-20 treatment was also successful, returning production to approximately 945 bopd. Plat 20 referred to in yest RNS 4 May 2017 an organic chemical treatment has been trialled on well Platanillo-8. This well, in a similar manner to some other producing wells, had suffered a decline in production, with a pre-treatment production level of 108 bopd. Following treatment the well is producing approximately 350 bopd in a stable manner. Plat 8 Also referred to in yest RNS. 21 Sept 2016. The Company is expecting a 2016 exit production rate of 7,200 BOPD and to produce between 7,500 and 8,500 BOPD in 2017 12 July 2016 Platanillo-8 The infill well at Platanillo-8 has been drilled to Total Depth ("TD") of 8,719 feet on Pad 5S and a 7 inch casing has been run and successfully cemented. Schlumberger electric logs indicate the well encountered oil columns in the Upper U, Lower U and T sands, with excellent reservoir quality. The N sand was not well developed at this position, in line with Amerisur´s seismic attribute predictive model. 4 May 2016 Which produced an average of 4,437 BOPD during 2015. | moneylender

26/9/2018 10:21 | TGG, Yesterday you asked for constructive comments, yet I do not recall you ever saying anything constructive yourself. All you seem to do is snipe. Have a nice day. M | marnewton

26/9/2018 10:05 | Amerisur Resources Plc,announced results from its Columbian Platanillo-1 well, after drilling to a total depth of 8,465ft Platanillo-1 has not recovered hydrocarbons. The N sand which was the primary target of the well was found to contain strong development of limestone and calcareous sandstone at 63 feet total thickness but logs indicated no hydrocarbon production potential.Although it failed to identify hydrocarbons at the N sands Pintadillo-1 had confirmed a potentially commercial hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir in T and U sands, stated to be more than 10ft of net pay and offer reserves upside and potential bolt-on production volumes for the Platanillo block. The well has now been cased and cemented and the company intends to initially perform flow testing of the T sand.Amerisur do however have a fairly active drill program during the next six months which offers the company a chance at some superb upside with wells CPO-5 and Putumayo-8 spudding shortly, followed next year by Putumayo-9 and Putumayo-12.Amerisur shares were down sharply today but investors may see opportunity ahead of a highly exciting drilling campaign. | jacks e4
26/9/2018 10:02 | Foiledagain - brilliant ananlysis.... so OGNC would be best off drilling off structure at Indico to prove conclusively where there isn't oil. Thank you so much for your insight | thegreatgeraldo
26/9/2018 09:59 | Could be a while before we break back above previous long-time support levels (early 13s) if that's now acting as resistance. May go lower. | rollthedice

26/9/2018 09:42 | Plenty of hypothesis as to what could or couldn’t be. The facts speak for themselves. As investors we deserve better. This present management team have served only to reduce confidence and an ever falling share price, they’ve had far to much time to put things right and failed. The company needs to be put back on track, if we’re primed to drill 16 wells then drill them, when we construct a pipeline we need oil to flow, not to find out later we have to build a pumping station, “total incompetence” sadly, if this wasn’t a AIM company they would have been replaced some time ago. | dayway123

26/9/2018 09:09 | Mr 73 is a frigging PC, programmed to do something. Ie keep the price down or maintain where it is price wise. Its working with another programme in the background to either offload or to harvest shares. | moneylender |
