I feel a late surge coming. At a current PE of around 10 plus lots of growth potential this surely is a steal.

I consider the market valuation of the company to be well below the opportunities presented by the model which delivers high realisations and margins especially to OBA crude. The argument for a significant rerating of the shares is compelling.

The big S/D squeeze is going to be for light-sweet which will provide the next generation of 'marine gas'. The winners from 2019 will be producers of light/sweet and refineries of course.

Boris thanks for posting the link, but perhaps you should have read it first.

Oil supply might be a record but demand is still increasing, and in that oil supply is many millions of barrels of uneconomic shale oil and they can't keep borrowing $100 a barrel to sell it at $50 and where the transport costs in these shales are so high too.

Its still 30-love to RH but his ammo is getting low. A good drill result next week will see his pile down to 25M or less. So by the end of the year we should have a free market but you never know, he is a clever bar steward, he might still have a few aces up his sleeve.

Expect Brent to be firmly in $76-84 range by mid 4Q18. Too many supply side risks and 4 years under-investment in exploration for downside.
Light/sweet will command a premium next year in run-up to IMO low sulphur regulations, all good for AMER.

Some of the holders on this thread have been ramping AMER for past 18-24 months yet price has fallen by half in same period. Is there any reason to believe anything has changed this time around. Until the chart suggests sentiment has changed there is no reason to buy. I may have to pay 1 or 2p more when there is proof of a change in sentiment but it won't be because of the usual rampers who usually get it wrong anyway.

Reality check - Second half will be flattered by july 2017 suspension.

July 2017 - production suspended
August 2017 - Total production was 180,843 barrels of oil ("BO") during the Period.


July 2018 - Total production during the month of July was 150,911
Aug 2018 - Unaudited production was 152,721 barrels of oil

August worryingly adrift of 2017 fig. Anyone know the wells depletion rates or decline curves?

Drilling plan continues, targeting prospective resources of 131.53 MMBO net to #AMER. A range of between 8 to 12 exploration wells and 2 to 6 appraisal wells are planned to be drilled between now and Q3 2019.
