24/4/2017 20:59 | Malcy vs Malcolm... Malcy wins every time for me. Not a massive fan of either to be honest. In fact I hate to say it, but Malcolm Stacey has actually made me more money, I think he pointed out L&G after the Brexit referendum result, I still hold still hold them today. | ![]() al101uk
24/4/2017 14:47 | Two positive write-ups actually, Amerisur feature in the AIM 100 summary part 1 (100-50) as well as in the results section. Results give a buy recommendation, with the summary, basically, that they are trading at a very low multiple of 8x estimated next years forward earnings and they acknowledge there are reasons to "raise an eyebrow at the targetted 20K bopd target for 2019". The AIM 100 write up talks of the oil in Ecuador as a pointer to what is possible and why Amerisur could be exciting and also to the opening of the OBA and consequent reduction in operating costs. It also talks of still being "buyers of the stock". Amerisur rate at number 71 in the top 100 AIM stocks, I'm sure we were in the top 5, dwarfed only by ASOS years ago... how things change! :-( | ![]() al101uk
24/4/2017 14:47 | Total BS that article .. but I will take all the marketing and positive publicity to get this share price over 30p, where it should be, if had not been for the negative Impact by the current board have had on the share price and the slow implementation of the OBA pipeline .. 30p here we come .. by jun17(IMHO) | oilandgas1

24/4/2017 12:33 | Investors' Chronicle loves how Amerisur has been keeping shareholders up to speed!! "Amerisur production edges ahead To a fault, Amerisur Resources (AMER) has been very good at keeping investors abreast of its progress in Colombia's Putumayo basin in recent years. When the OBA pipeline was being constructed, the market was provided with frequent photographic updates; now the pipe is in place, shareholders receive a monthly update on how much oil is flowing through it from the Platanillo field, under the Putumayo River and off to market in Ecuador." Is there another Amerisur in a parallel universe...? | ![]() bigwavedave

24/4/2017 10:02 | I think the bod have suggested it as a long term aim in the past but I guess they will have to reach their bpd targets before even considering it. | meneither2
24/4/2017 09:49 | Anyone think they may offer a div to reward shareholders eventually? Profit should be good by 2018. Would like to think it would be possible | ![]() juuunx2

24/4/2017 07:33 | Don't worry about temporary low oil prices as they put pressure on less profitable more highly leveraged operations in Colombia and open up potential in Ecuador that might otherwise not be available, as the last Amerisur deal illustrated. | ![]() foiledagain
23/4/2017 20:50 | I don't do twitter so I'll be checking in hereabouts for the foreseeable future unless my trip to the Agm leads me to head for the exit :)Q Venuzuela is looking volatile at the moment and to a lesser degree, Ecuador. The frame to the Amer picture changes shape quite frequently and JW does well to navigate a course against this background. Val's indigines could well present down the line issues if the political situation stabilised but they might well get submerged if it gets a little more tumultuous Whatever, this ain't the North Sea and the only certainty is continuing uncertainty Q | quidnunc
23/4/2017 19:51 | Hooray. Let's hope nobody bothers to check the fall in oil price before pressing the buy button. | lucyp00p
