Rex investd in Medusa mining early on at a few pence. He sold 25% at £4.50 and put money in Amerisur at similar levels. 2p initially and 2p after wall Street crash. Paraguay was supposed to be biggest untapped fieldmin world and would take Amer to level similar to Medusa. Paraguay is a dud. GC keep taking options on putumayo op and not much else. RH objected, along with his son Daniel to the fund managers who put him in in fact that place, maybe three years ago. Selling up the s outcome as Paraguay is a cattle trucked. Amer need a second territory producing oil on large scale to satisfy 'riak element' . For now they are not. Maybe they will, if they can sort matters with Ecuadorian govt/authorities. My take. Also RH has charities of humanistic nature and oil cos treatment in indigenas is contrary to concept ergo. My take. Shell or BP to take out eventually and they don't give a monkey's about local issues. RH doesn't see £4.50 anymore and may well have a.n.other that fits that bill. Unless.of course he is conspiring with those who knows who will diapose of gc and RH gets a seat on board. He's done it before.

can anyone help me with the background to the differences of opinion between the BOD and Rex Harbour? Since lurking on this board I've come across many references to such but I have no understanding of the issues between them.

Can someone explain the Rex Harbour thing pls? Fairly new to this company and see he sold down in March but what was his role? He gets mentioned a lot on this BB. know this is probably a stupid question for many.Thanks.

Very poor on Amer a management on 2 counts:

1) not prioritising this pipeline connectivity in 2016
2) not communicating that they would save money by craeting a lower cost transport system for X kbopd

Today's move was a thing of beauty and if confirmed by a close at or above 23.5 tomorrow will see us up to 26 by cls friday and into the thirties not long after.

Amerisur have stated in recent presentations that they will be building the Pad 9 to Pad 5 pipeline interconnector next quarter Q3....is it not that the historic closed in wells are in a series of wells/pads clustered around Pad 5....it makes complete sense to minimise any transport cost overheads and feed the shut-in oil to Pad 5 when up and running with the hope the POO prices have also risen to our benefit

some people focus too must on the minor negatives and the past, both are irrevelant and pondering over them, unproductive and futile

this is about as cheap as a company gets, could treble and still not be expensive
