Deal approved.

It would appear that only half of those who said they'd vote against (the c100m shares brigade) actually did so as only 48-50m voted against in Court Meeting & GM votes.

Sad AMER's story ends this way but c'est la vie.

Not an AGM... I was looking for the time, surely over by now.

Don't claim to be seasoned investor but even in the short time I've had shares in Amerisur I can recognise posters posting only out of self interest. Napoleon 14th you take today's prize.

Many who have sold when its so blatantly undervalued at 19.21 will relish the chance to buy back cheaper if they can but there is no reason why an undervalued bid would result in the price crashing given the assets Amerisur have and where even they can't prevent drilling taking place and neither can ONGC or Occi. and all the while getting paid adding to the cash in hand.

It will be so funny if the deal doesn't go through.I couldn't give a flying fig that the share price may go down in the short term.

If not; forget and move on. There's better stock in the market.
