15/10/2019 12:27 | Just a few small buys and price ticks up. Obviously not much stock about so either buy or sit on your hands. Not long now, I have it on good authority NH is in Bogota with GC and JW, so effectively full bod! I wonder why? £1 by Xmas | moneylender
15/10/2019 12:23 | £1? LOL But certainly gifting shares at this price point! Bonkers. | knackers
15/10/2019 11:34 | 19.20 buy is a new high, is this finally breaking out? | ![]() jp2011
15/10/2019 11:23 | Amerisur Resources is a prime example of a company that is worth a great deal in a takeover situation but outside of that, priced at near 10p by the market. Today, it’s priced at 19p after putting up the For Sale sign after being approached by M&P (french listed business) with an indicative offer of 17p which was subsequently rebuffed. The final takeover price will be revealed shortly (if acceptable to the board) and is expected to come from ‘well funded’ interested parties. TheShareHUB believes that base value in a difficult market should be around 26p a share. However, due to the keen interest in Colombia of late (major companies have been swarming in for licence entry) the price should achieve fair value circa 36p or if going bang in the middle, 31p looks about right. Investors will know soon as the last company RNS hinted that the process will be concluded before Y/E. £1 by Xmas | moneylender
15/10/2019 09:52 | Yup I think you’re in the ballpark Dav | knackers
15/10/2019 08:56 | I’d be surprised were the successful bid price not at a significant premium (30-40%) to share price highs of the past 18-24 months. I see the deteriorating situation in the Middle East as a major catalyst and opportunity for those with assets and interests in Colombia. | knackers
15/10/2019 08:45 | Several years ago this was 65p per share that was without all the assets Amer has now and yet look at the share price now. The mind boggles! | sabre6
15/10/2019 08:42 | As per the last RNS "Shareholders are encouraged to take no further action with regard to their shares."I'd be pretty peed off if after being encouraged to take no action we'd not see a decent offer above current levels.... | ![]() fatgreek
15/10/2019 08:39 | If the moving average is 15.13 then we're not far off it now. Will be much higher in my view | ![]() pauliewonder
15/10/2019 08:32 | Which bidder is paying you? | ![]() fatgreek
15/10/2019 08:31 | I would suggest that the share price of 12p didn't reflect the value of the company's assets more the markets view of the management inability to ever deliver on drilling promises. Buyers are looking for value and what they feel they can unlock from the assets and expect to be better than the current bod? | meneither2
15/10/2019 08:28 | Bid and ask unchanged. Chill | ![]() mortgage freeman
15/10/2019 08:26 | The curse of Amerisur, almost the entire market is up. AMER goes down. It's a dog right to the very end. You'd never think this stock was expecting a bid. | ![]() frederickbloggs
15/10/2019 08:22 | Rough calc: AMER's 6 month ave share price (unadjusted for volume weighting) is 15.13p | ![]() xxnjr
15/10/2019 07:52 | From proactive investor: We are not surprised that Amerisur is being courted by a number of interested parties, given the quality of its asset base and considerable potential of the surrounding acreage. Total reserves are currently estimated to be 15MMbo (1P), 22MMbo (2P), and 31MMbo (3P) showing a slight increase to reflect production history that indicates larger oil in place and higher recovery factors. Further drilling activity on CPO-5 is scheduled for this year, commencing with the Indico-2 appraisal well. The 30-day well is planned to increase production and reserves with the potential to extend the Oil Water Contact | ![]() fatgreek
15/10/2019 07:31 | AMER 6 month VWAP is much less than the current SP, so a 32% premium wouldn't be much higher than the current price. | ![]() the drewster
15/10/2019 07:26 | so if amerisur gets 32% premium as did Eland, then 27P coming. | ![]() astorcourt
15/10/2019 07:15 | Another one bites the dust. Recommended cash offer for Eland Oil & Gas by Seplat Petroleum. "a premium of approximately 32.7 per cent. to the six-month volume weighted average price per Eland Share as of 14 October 2019 of 125.1 pence." | ![]() xxnjr
15/10/2019 07:08 | 20p and some..... here we come...... | ![]() fatgreek
15/10/2019 05:35 | Well, for the first time in ages at AMER, I am now at break even price. That's a relief, I was thinking I would never see 19p ever again. Roll on a half decent bid. | ![]() frederickbloggs
14/10/2019 23:19 | The most difficult question for me is what do Oxy think our undeveloped real estate is actually worth? The $93 million tabled was for 50% of the plot and included a commitment to drill 5 wells, do extensive 3d surveys and ship production through the OBA. Assuming that the cost of all those actions was say $73 million, that values our real estate at $40mm and not $180 million.Perhaps 38p is a trifle optimistic. Perhaps not | ![]() lucyp00p
14/10/2019 21:30 | The most difficult question on valuation is how much of the assets are essentially frozen due to political issues on the ground, which I feel is the likely reason why there have been so few drills in the last couple of years. | ![]() danieldruff2
14/10/2019 20:24 | The very worst case imv would be 26p -- but I do not believe that will be allowed to happen. Yes there are obvious contenders but I am still of a mind that there will be serious left field contenders who will know the share price has been held at c 12p for many months along with little attempt by our directors to drive the company forward with promised drills etc.. | ![]() westmoreland lad |
