Above correct re blending via OBA, will take a little time to get this right. More than sufficient tank storage in Plat to handle.

Those figures are the sort of reaction I would expect when testing blended oil through the OBA. Perhaps, just perhaps we'll see an RNS shortly.

well when JW was talking about the OBA, "Imminently" stretched to over a year ????

So I would use that as your yard stick !!!!

JW - news will be with you shortly. What is the definition of shortly?

"soon, directly, presently, quite soon, in a short time, in a short/little while, at any moment/minute/second, in a moment/minute/second, in less than no time (at all), in next to no time, before long"

stretching the definition a little bit lol

You are perhaps being a bit harsh there 11%. I concur that a 2nd rig may not happen for LS3 play. The previous assumption by JW that it would happen was based on current understanding at that time. AMER, even ONGC perhaps, thought the local structures like Indico/Mariposa were small parts of a much bigger overall thing due to "combination trapping". Whether that line of thought holds up post Calao remains to be seen. Possibly not, as AMER suggested drilling Indico-2 as the 4th well, presumably giving space to revise the seismic model. However there are other plays on the block which will be tested. New seismic will be/is being shot on SE of block. If other plays work, they could be more material than the LS3 (as per adjoining block LLA34 to NE). Will be interesting to see how this develops.

Don't know why people keep on about a second rig.....its not happening.

It was JW that said this, usual lies.

Although Sol is a relatively small reservoir, it does not mean that the flow rate will be small (given that it does flow).

Yes also bought a few more today on the hope of some news this week at the least of 2 rigs. I am positive about our recent well dont really think that it will be huge but 400 to 600 bopd will pay for the cost of drilling.
12.4p is the lowest i could get without splitting the order.

Looks like a change. The share price is not being slowly manipulated down each day.

Who ever is controlling the share price ...have decided that 12p is the level for the moment.

Have bought a few more on this basis.

Some v bullish moves being made by POO now settling into a steady up trend. Markets hate uncertainty and looks like neither US or Iran know how to backdown from this one so don’t expect quick or easy resolution. Iran won’t have liked Mr Pres saying it must have been a mistake. They'll just pull his tail a bit harder next time. But the risks to them of making a bad mistake/misjudgment say with one of Trump’s “allies”. Would be catastrophic.

Oman side, GOO, Khor Fakkan anchorage next? Iranians seem happier playing silly bu&&ers on that open side. Minor glitch: 1. military ops rarely go to plan 2. HE and product tankers don’t mix well!

Heard Indico referred to as a ‘cathedral-like’ closure - connected with Mariposa tbd, but more likely than not.

POO surging again.
US have little choice but to act on Iran. Its a tough call but defer action and you have a much bigger future problem. Either Iran behave or they get a slap. Trump has to send his own ‘messsge’; to the Iranian elite. Heavy iron and overwhelming power may have to be in the ‘text’ phaps with a couple of graphic emojis.

Sentiment took a bit of a knock due to the vertical depth mapping at Calao being out. Quite understandable that that happened. Even the majors get it wrong. Presume, they took a breather, have re-mapped the area, tying seismic into Ind-1 and Calao-1 well results. Should have a more accurate picture of structure(s) at depth now. A good result at Ind-2 would confirm this.

Meanwhile anticipating a reasonable flow from Sol-1, assuming sands have similar properties to Mariposa & Ind-1.

BMO reckon the Indico-2 appraisal well c. 33 mmbbls or 5-7p/sh (risked-unrisked).

They say with the Lowest Known Oil covering only 25% of the mapped structural closure, there remains the potential for up to 80 mmboe.

Exciting drill
