Two posts above I think on the money:

- Production guidance, managing expectations. Clear opportunity with two wells now spud to ‘out perform’
- Now need to shift their emphasis to operational excellence and execution (enough of the deal making) “let’s drill!”

Will be a sobering session for all concerned today.

Big takeaway is the speed ONGC have moved onto Sol-1. That bodes well. Success there should trigger the move to a multi-rig campaign in CPO5 going fwd.

now that deals are done - do we need a deal making master? time for operations to take over.

if the deal master is gone - will that speed up the Co being sold to the highest bidder?

imo - YES

as from the outside he will be suddenly in the same boat as we are and he will take care of it from our perspective suddenly.

Royalty barrels
Are they determined by x amount of barrels or price at the time of collection or what.

Delivering "just" this underwhelming target production, should deliver $100m netbacks at current oil prices ... of course, delivering on promises is hardly a strong point of this BOD

I think Sol-1 will take around 30 days to drill based on Mariposa which was deeper at 12,880 feet and estimated at 38 days back in 2017.

Well that is a begrudged RNS if ever I saw one. I really hope they get a very tough ride this morning and GC bucks up his ideas as he will get re-elected.

YASRUB - That's the problem, nothing is ever properly explained by Wardle so we are left speculating unnecessarily.

Was sol the next to be drilled from the original planning?

currently churning out 6500 bopd, but guidance for year remains 5000-6000 so we're expecting some falls? or this should drag the average up given the low production months 1 to 4?

At $40 netbacks, 5000 bopd generates well over $50m annually.

Oxy farmout appears to have delivered precisely nothing and doesn't even get a mention.

Sol-1 spud might recover enthusiasm in what CPO-5 could actually be, but spud last week and saved for the morning of the AGM smacks of desperation ... they weren't even "pleased" to provide the operational update.

Hi Davwal

I assumed there maybe some disruption at Indico in due course - 2 drills I think that might disrupt production, could be completely wrong though.

Seems AMER and ONGC are in alignment with CP-05 changing the original schedule to now target Sol instead and if I recall correctly back to Indico thereafter. Current production is not a surprise as many here have monitored the OBA volume.

It will be interesting how the AGM goes - it would be great if anyone going could give a summary in due course.

So production pumped up to 6500 for the AGM then back to 5000 - 6000. Make that 5000...At least the drill bit is finally turning.

So the good news RNS that has been held back to save GC's job has arrived....6500bopd.

Now you can go to the AGM and look at his smug grin!

Don't know about jam tomorrow but a "gang of 4" had good beer and ruby tonight.

Good conversations, speculations, news and banter. Plus a toast to Brian (Val).

Thanks guys.
