Worth reiterating that Amer has recommended to ONGC V that the drilling of Indico-2 takes precident while Pavo Real-1X is re-evaluated. The operator has not confirmed that course of action as yet, assuming Amer are keeping us posted on developments - not their strongest point.

Charlieeee - thanks!

So, hopefully, number of drilled wells will still be as predicted.

Pavo Real-1 & Miraparriba-1 - delayed
Indico appraisal 1 - brought forward
Platinillo 26 - new well

Platinillo 26 is a new well, not in the Feb presentation capex.

On your point 4, the "deal" was set out in the original agreement, so a cash deal and all that holds up proceedings is the ANH approval: it is that, which will be the determining factor in how long this takes.

"Following notification by Vetra Exploración y Producción Colombia SAS of the proposed sale of its 50% working interest in block Put-8, Amerisur is pleased to report that it has exercised its right of first refusal to acquire that working interest, as per the terms set forth in the existing Joint Operating Agreement between Amerisur and Vetra.

Following approval by the Colombian National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) the Company will hold 100% working interest and operatorship in Put-8."

Some clarifications on the 26th March RNS would be appreciated:

1) Following the unsuccessful drill of Calao-1X exploration well, the well Pavo Real-1 has now been delayed, right?

2) Indico appraisal 1 well will be drilled next (Q2) instead?

3) RNS also mentions the drilling of a new infill well, Platanillo-26, following the Platanillo-7 workover. Am I right in saying that this is a totally new well which was not accounted for before? The Investors Presentation February 2019 mentions Platanillo fields enhancements worth $0.9m. This cost will not include the cost of a new infill well (Plat-26) right? Will this well be drilled in Q2?

4) In Q2, Vetra, previous operator of Miraparriba-1, had to start the drilling of this new well. Since AMER is now in the process of acquiring Vetra's 50% share in this well to become 100% owner and operator, is it likely that this well will also be postponed until purchase deal is concluded? If so, how long do such deals normally take to finalize - 3, 6 months?

Thanks in advance for your contributions.

There's 2600 people in the SW and not much oil. The Coendu structure is North of the Buenavista and could be drilled from Put-9 so Siona spirits won't be disturbed. The Colombian government makes the final decisions and they're the ones creating obligations for seismics and drilling.

Storage turned out to be a pretty decent decision at c$55 back in Dec.

Consultation has been concluded with groups to the N and E of Put12, but by the sounds of it not with the Siona in the SW who appear to have excluded themselves. If they remain unsupportive they’ll either need the Govt to mediate/decide or work round them, as prospects look to be in the more northern part of the Put12 block.

Couldn’t give a monkey’s for last years results. Strong POO through the year will help but Dec storage will take the shine off. Think we all know what matters now.

Crack on with those Indico Appraisals get another rig in for Sol and Aguila.
Crack on with the remaining Plantanillo workovers which now seem to be delivering v nicely
Crack on with Put8 maraparriba spud
Crack on with OBA deal
Crack on with civils in Put12
Etc etc

I wont be adding more Amerisur in my ISA on Monday.I will keep my current holding. Progress is just so slow here. Our bopd just never seems to increase every year. I dont expect the results next week to ignite the share price. More than ever this is a long term hold

You can see why its not popular

Pipeline imminent then a bottleneck no one apparently knew about

Even Put-12 where timescales about drilling looking decidedly shaky if the Guardian Article is anything to go by, where Amer state consultation has taken place, but where Amerisur have stopped all work on put 12? So how they going to drill.

Colombia changed rules recently though, so any real problems with an existing lease they can award another lease, athough expect Colombian government to have final decision on Put-12

I think you are right ! Not a popular share in the City. Looks like the share price is going in only one direction - Down !At present any takeover is looking most unlikely. We may have good drilling prospects ahead but we are not for a number of reasons increasing our bopd

..or PIs bailing before results next week which may disappoint. I'll be pleasantly surprised if cash levels haven't fallen significantly which I know runs against commonly expressed view that AMER have been piling up free cash at current poo.
