17/3/2019 17:06 | If the tender doc is anything to go by looks like a significant ramp-up and accelerated drill programme in CPO5. Can't imagine why.. ;o) Mañana en la mañana. | paradores
17/3/2019 14:08 | Hopefully next week will start with a bang. | tsmith2
17/3/2019 14:07 | May be to clear way. Seller seemed to be drip feeding | tsmith2
17/3/2019 13:54 | Grand Slam to Wales and lots of good news around the corner here, starting Monday by the looks of it. I personally expected news last week when Amers Tweeting went off the scale, false start maybe! | moneylender
17/3/2019 12:15 | And cheque book | tom111
17/3/2019 11:41 | If C-1X confirms combination trapping this week, people will be scrambling for the calculators. | the drewster
16/3/2019 17:14 | xxnjr, I think you are right. Those are districts as well as towns. Cabuyaro is NW quadrant and Puerto Lopez is the rest - boundary seems to be rio Metica. LS3/Guad does fall in Cabuyaro, but we'll see.. Clearly a lot of positive newsflow to come! | fadilz
16/3/2019 15:55 | this is a description of CPO-5 block location in general terms as laid out in the PSC. "El Bloque se encuentra ubicado dentro de las Jurisdicciones municipales de Cabuyaro, Barranca de Upia y Puerto López en el Departamento del Meta." Not many towns (or municipalities) down there. Consequently small towns, in this part of Columbia, administer large tracts of land. Looks like ONGC will soon be currying favour with the mayors of Cabuyaro and Puerto López! edit: fadilz - agree Cabuyaro is very close to N-1X to N-4X locations but just feel thats where ONGC have to get local permitting done, as 4 new wells are "in SE of block" according to latest tender. Whatever happens - looks like we are in for a lot more drilling. Happy days. | xxnjr
16/3/2019 15:03 | The ONGC document mentions Cabuyaro and Puerto López locations, which google locates in the NW - ie the 4 wells marked as N-1X to N-4X in the LS3/Guad play. Edit: Puerto Lopez is probably Aguila. Given that they mention "10 exploratory locations", it seems to me they are preparing the other Exploration prospects as well - so that is potentially another 7 wells beyond the 6 so far confirmed, including Mariposa-2. (see slide 18, feb presentation) | fadilz
16/3/2019 15:02 | No information on gross resource mmboe, reservoir type or thickness but they look extremely large on presentations. | jp2011
16/3/2019 14:16 | presumably the 4 wells in SE are different from LS3 play; i.e targeting Airon, Alondra, Amaranta and Azor in the heavy oil trend, as per slide 7Feb Presentation. | xxnjr
16/3/2019 13:58 | It's looking very tasty now! | swerves1
16/3/2019 13:44 | the tender document was dated yesterday, they want expedite without delays, 4 planned wells 2019 and 4 wells extended phase 2, giving 8. I conclude that calao is a success, and multiple rigs are on their way. | astorcourt
16/3/2019 13:23 | No worries. The only section of the ONGC website that is updated regularly is the Tender section. Has to comply with regulation. As they are taking the lead I would guess any RNS release will have to be sanctioned by them. | leas1
16/3/2019 12:27 | Lol still sniping but not much longer | tom111
16/3/2019 12:05 | Indeed Knackers....how on earth is this not below 14p?! | plentymorefish
16/3/2019 11:48 | Top marks whoever spotted that tender doc - this mirrors the Cantor Fitzgerald note. Exploration activity in CPO5 accelerating. Can’t think why ;o) Bonkers valuation, utterly bonkers! | knackers
16/3/2019 10:58 | Maybe the reason why the civil works tender keeps getting put back is because the changing dynamics of the block make it difficult for any Civil Works Company to tender an accurate estimate of costs. Just a thought, | leas1
16/3/2019 10:53 | A positive rns is on its way then , hopefully Monday , happy days are here again !! | fletcher22
16/3/2019 10:09 | it gets even better. I had raised a concern about the exploration phase running out and that we might have to relinquish the non LS3 part of CPO-5, but ".....According to approved work program of CPO-5 block in 2019 two exploratory locations were firmed up for drilling. But with the major discovery in Indico-1X well, brings up new scenarios for drilling of at least 4 wells in 2019 in NW part of the block. The joint development of Mariposa-1 and Indico-1X and possible lay out of oil pipeline increases the LAQ work by multiple times. In SE part of CPO-5 block, 4 exploratory locations are lined up for early drilling within extended phase II period of the block." So we have more time to explore CPO-5. Very happy about that! | xxnjr
16/3/2019 10:04 | That tender was dated yesterday , read page 58 , necessity of work - development and exploration of cpo5 block is presently at full swing with recent success of commercial hydrocarbon in mariposa 1 AND indico 1x well , think that's let the cat out the bag maybe ? | fletcher22
16/3/2019 09:59 | leas1 thanks for that. The tender is about acquiring land within existing CPO-5 block, where they will be able to construct production facilities, wells, pipelines (if needed) etc etc All very positive. ".....ONGC Videsh Limited is presently working as operator in CPO-5 block where exploratory drilling resulted in successive oil discoveries. In order to build up the surface facilities and subsequent drilling of wells (exploratory/ appraisal/ development) for commercial production the land acquisition has to be carried out in faster pace. The selected land/ area for drilling / surface facilities must be negotiated and acquired for this purpose through a servitude constitution. This processes involves several activities such as land cadastral diagnosis, land negotiation and acquisition following all applicable legal procedures for the final servitude constitution. For this purpose, a multidisciplinary firm may be hired through limited tender basis for the execution of all these activities." | xxnjr
16/3/2019 09:53 | 0716 is contiguous/SW of CPO-5 LS3 discoveries. AMER should be bidding (or negotiating) one would have thought. | xxnjr |
