28/1/2019 16:05 | 5 Platanillo wells undergoing routine/scheduled maintenance, we know this from the ops update. Moving on... | knackers

28/1/2019 16:03 | Your stupid comment was suggesting those that recently saw gains arising from their 10p purchases - back October 2018 if I recall, would have to pay CGT on Thursday. My comment was that any disposals made in the last complete tax year were unlikely to trouble the tax man. So, I am also an accountant, but a vastly better one than you mate. | ![]() lucyp00p
28/1/2019 16:01 | Calao-1, targeting a structure alongside Indico to the southwest, towards the Aguila structure which is expected to spud before the end of January 2019. On a simple structural basis, McDaniel estimates prospective resources at Calao of between 2 and 9.8 MMBO. | ![]() tsmith2

28/1/2019 15:49 | I suggest you read my latest post for clatification that my tax bill due at the end of the week is nothing to do with the current years gains. Thats why there is a lot of recent sells. They are to pay last years Capital Gains on other shares investors hold | ![]() underhill2
28/1/2019 15:45 | Im not answering your stupid comments. I have a Capital Gains Tax bill to pay based on my gains in the Tax Year Ended 5th April 2018. Nothing to do with the current Tax ye ar or Amerisur. I suggest you think before you post rubbish. I have been retired 10 years by the way. By the way I increased my holding today to 750k shares which is more than enough for the great ride we will have over the next 2 years plus. 500k of my holding are in an ISA so no Caputal Gains Tax tax to pay in the future when I sell them. At least we have something in common. We both want the same end result. | ![]() underhill2

28/1/2019 15:31 | So you advise your clients to pay CGT realised before the end of the 2019 tax year 12 months early? I'm glad you're not my bloody accountant. | ![]() lucyp00p

28/1/2019 14:57 | Indico - now they can copy paste for some time on their own imho.monitoring of the operation and costs can be done by stuff. amer needs JW at Platanillo! seismic interpretation at Indico is different issue. when it is shot | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 14:55 | point - they are just informing us on lower and lower and not how they are addressing the issue. when and what will be done about it is a sound management issue that owner has to know about as it is very material imho and shows the managements competence and respect and ability. and communications skill or need or will | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 14:53 | The oil is stored on the field and they do have significant capacity, as shown by the year end accounts on occasion. 2015 "Inventory at the end of December was 229,000 barrels" That may not have been full capacity and subsequent to that there have been various upgrades to facilities. If JW moves CPO-5 on, then we get great benefit out of his experience being applied to that field and apparently, AMER moved them on from Kamal and Loto, taking a fresh approach, which has led to the current position and AMER are pressing for increased activity. Looking back at the last few months of 2018, he seemed able to juggle multiple balls at the same time: asset purchase, Oxy deal, and drilling. It will be down to him having a well organized team on the ground. | ![]() charlieeee
28/1/2019 14:47 | not really true. memorandum of understanding could be signed. they could buy oil and ship it as their own etc. I hope you know the drill. firm commitment ..... | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 14:39 | @kaos3 ~ your last point is addressed in the operational update RNS which states "Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia approval to begin the purchase and shipping of third party crude via the OBA expected in H1 2019". Until that approval is given no contract could be signed. | rollthedice
28/1/2019 14:36 | I wonder how much do we get paid for JW giving our paid time to the Indico partner - what is the charge. If not - they should operate and he should calm and return to us (amer) full time. Working and schooling for free is something that I have an issue with. From this point on he is needed by his employer for the next few months on almost exclusive basis. Who is marketing OBA I asked and why is he failing to sign contracts? | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 14:35 | Is "withheld" unsold oil stored at the field, or stored at the end of the line in Ecuador? | ![]() xxnjr
28/1/2019 14:13 | @swerves ~ it's not deramping to highlight a continuing worrying trend. AMER's reason for previous low volumes were 1) completion issues on Plat22 & 8, 2) disproportionate number of royalty barrels taken in Q4 and 3) December oil stored not sold. Point 1) was ongoing at time of RNS, point 2) it's now Q1 so OBA volumes should have risen with fewer royalty barrels taken and point 3) unless they're continuing to store rather than sell [impact cashflow] OBA volumes should have risen disproportionately with stored oil adding to current production. Why should share price rise or even hold if overall production static or falling? It'd be nice if AMER actually issued an update which wasn't positive on one hand and negative in the other. | rollthedice
28/1/2019 14:07 | As a Chartered Accountant I think I do. How ignorant you are | ![]() underhill2
28/1/2019 14:03 | SDX style reporting would be pleasant surprise. | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 13:59 | it will be no new or meaningful news. OBA third party contract would be news. Or Platinillo code cracked. Or the third and second rig on the Indico. OXY drilling plan would be news. Ecuador license would be news. Rejecting buy offer would be news. | ![]() kaos3
28/1/2019 13:53 | The derampers seem to be still out now, maybe trying to buy in lower! The Calao-1 spudding news should be coming in the next week, and this I think will start moving the share price up again | ![]() swerves1
28/1/2019 13:41 | Surprised it's still above 15p but time yet to get there | ![]() plentymorefish
28/1/2019 13:28 | Meanwhile reported OBA volumes continue to decline.. now regularly <2000bopd and several days last week were only c1700bopd. | rollthedice |
