Month end stock on loan figures come from the Euroclear website. As they are total figures, they also pick up where there are multiple smaller positions as well as a few large ones.

The existence of these positions does explain some of the more undesirable posters that have frequented this BB with the purpose of driving negative sentiment.

I will be waiting for 6 months...,/4 drills for the max share price impact - meanwhile take it easy imho

engage in your favorite distraction to and leave amer shares alone - I am telling myself - I will have fun and most profits - by having fun

and wabble as per usual lol

Mono-Tony?...he just 'Relaxes' ;o) There's a lesson for us all. Patience truly is a virtue in this game, but I more than sense the beginning of something the like of which we haven't previously seen. So let's follow Tony's lead, go easy on the Dijon. The game is about to change.

Boatman - for every share you buy in Amerisur, you get ten shares in Monotony. Get used to it.

I don't regard Rex as a problem. He's the gift that keeps on giving. Most of us here are smart enough to appreciate the upside potential here once the reserves are accurately reflected in the books and deals come to fruition. Every day, posters comment on topping up but still others moan about the inability to break out. I'm happy to add more half price clearance stock to my portfolio while I can. Every single Amer buy trade I placed over the last 17 months is in profit thanks mainly to Rex, so if he's not out yet, I'll be back for more until he's done.

It's about time we broke this 20p barrier rather than constantly bumping of it , it's starting to get monotonous now

Rex isn't the problem. He simply highlights the fact that there isn't a huge appetite to acquire the shares he's disposing of.It's no good blaming him for the outcome of something we all do.Yes, the manner of it draws out the agony for those remaining in but, which of us would sell at a disadvantage to ourselves to avoid discomforting others?Yes, it could've been done in a more orderly manner and through the aegis of a broker but I doubt the outcome would be hugely different. I remain convinced that there will come a time that, whatever his continued activities, the true value of this share will be perceived and his disposals will he soaked up without impact. Then we may see a gap up and a move to a valuation that reflects both the underlying asset value and the expectations that the teams on the ground can deliver to. For that to be achieved, both the OBA and the program have to deliverQ

8m shares = 0.7% of the company - hardly substantial - at least not to me as I have a holding in PLUS.
