"When investing anywhere between £5 and £50k those % tally up."

If talking percentages the amount you invest makes no difference, come on copter man
And I think you mean stack or add up, I think I know what you're trying to say, trying being the politest way of describing it

Lol

I will wait for Amer to hit 24p again folks and buy only to sell when 10% profit is made. Slipping today.Nice news on my high risk pot 88e has hit final depth with no setbacks roll on mid june...3 pots bigdave - 1 is pension and never gets touched 2 is mid risk where half of all wins go to pot 1 and 3 is high risk.. try it and see if it cheers you up.

Now now children, behave. Sold at 24p breakeven. have not bought back in yet. Some you win some you dont. If warrants on Hur are taken today should be another good day. My ideal profit is 30% in and out. I will take 20% or 10% if im buying a stock thats stuck to the price of Oil like Tullow Oil, have a look at the charts over last 2 years. I have made a tidy sum. When investing anywhere between £5 and £50k those % tally up.No more justifications to the lady who stopped counting after her 1st million (poo) or the man who constantly rubs everyone up csuse he bought high again.

So, somebody obviously complained about their stop being hit at 24.75 and got it reversed at the end of the day.

This one does like to try and spook the market just before good news: "OBA day" was a classic example, with that wicked drop just before the RNS hit.

Here's a mind game for you:

If you take Fadilz numbers and value Plat at 23.2p, that means, you can reverse out of that the capex requirement for the 16 wells to 2018 of $65 million. Obviously cash in hand will pay the biggest chunk of that ($42 million which wasn't in Fadilz NPV), so we only need a further $23 million from the cash flows.

Removing that cash from the first years numbers reduces your share price to 20.9p... so there is your underlying "risk free" investment (the cashflow after capex and opex).

The rest is basically a bet on those 16 wells, so for 4.85p per share or £58.8 million you get a shot at:

Plat upgrade/extension/N Sands
Put-12
Put-9
CPO-5
Coati

To give an idea of your exposure, hitting reserves of 6 million and producing at a rate of 1500 bopd would add $78 million to the value of the company or £60 million.

In other words, practically speaking, we hit anything on any of those drills and your in the money.

That's where I see value, on top of that you get the pipeline and the tax credits for free and a shot at reserves upgrades and production increases from our current assets which could all add value.

In my view this version of events is overly positive, I think the bet is a little more pricey than that, but it serves as an illustration to anyone interested in how I came to my "undervalued" opinion a few days ago.

adam - good. But I have decided, without any technical knowledge at all, that they should have done it by now.

Val - I remember that one. I didn't know he was a geologist.

How long would it take to test the C3PO (thanks, Tony) well? Or is that a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question?

"If by undervalued you mean that the future share price will be higher, then we agree."

Nope, my opinion is that the risk weighted returns of the company should be valued higher than they are today. In other words, the share price should (not will) be higher.

That means I'm paying 20p in the pound for a 50/50 chance of success... I could lose, but it's damned good value. If we approach 50p in the £1 before results, I'll sell... if not I'll take the bet.

I'm not sure which model is running today, where several big buys equals a drop in SP, but Hell's teeth what does have to happen to get the thing to fly?!
