Jovi - I've been here 10 years+. Up to 60+ down to 2-. Now coasting around 26 against all logic. With all the goodies promised by management we should be 50+ in today's market. But they are trying to get me out. You go if you like. I'm staying.

I don't think this company will go anywhere soon.
no many trust the management any more I have some stock on this and I would not buy if I was in already
thankfully I stop topping up on this some time ago it seems to me that holding this you get all the risk on a volatile oil price and none of the rewards.
since the bottom on oil last here I have topped up many oil company all of them double treble in value the exception is amer that has not moved
if I see 29 again I will sell the rest of my holding

Great article in Investors Chronicle today on the stage for a spectacular oil price recovery it's on headline page...,it's coming the next boom and with AMER planning to expand to 3 operational fields by 2019 and drilling 10 new wells in next18 months plus increase in pipeline we are in the right place to benefit from any such boom.

Talk of a takeover is always rather desperate, anyhow it is more likely Amer will make another takeover as it has been doing
The falling price has more to do with losing patience, and poor historical results IMO dyor

I just checked my handbook of corporate governance and couldn't find any suggestion that building a school is a successful or necessary prelude to a corporate fire sale. Furthermore, the school story, while not particularly germane to the current operating issues does seem to indicate continuing confidence in the region and would surely warrant a line or two as a company announcement bwtfdik!

Paying a dividend is a good discipline for a company. It gives a year by year yardstick, encourages bigger investors onto the share register and would put the company into a different league. They have the pipeline (our investment) and could make that fund payments to shareholders very quickly. I hesitate to say imminently because this BoD would interpret that very differently from the rest of us.

I believe like many others the lack of news is taking this share price down. AMER's thoughtless disregard for the pi is deplorable. And some of its directors who have failed to promote, really do need to be removed from its board.

Bdaz. Once they increase production through the pipeline revenues will increase, the share price can only rise.
