sb, I don't draw the trendlines each time. They are saved as 'drawing objects', then re-loaded.

I leave them on the chart because it allows easy reference back to previous potential turns and chart patterns. Some stocks are more predictable than others.

Mad, last market chart says a turn today for JSE, guess it will be a high at recent historical resistance. Chart still looks positive longer term.

D4T4, all SMAS except 200 falling and widely spaced, creating overhead resistance. 100/200 Death Cross imminent by months end.

Price test of neckline from below failed.

Hi sb, I was anticipating a potential turn on Friday. Fridays candle shape showed an inside day, ie the whole of the candle was within the extremes of the previous day. It is likely that instead of a turn, price will continue the prior trend.

In short, no turn materialised on Friday, and I did not trade AAZ.

Now I look to the trendlines I drew that created the apexes [apexi?]. Which are strong/high conviction, which are less so? What have I got wrong?

Still interested , I also turn from the advfn mid price based chart to the last market price based chart [not shown]. The daily candles have slightly different shapes, therefore the same trendlines converge on different dates.

These are 21-22/10/2019 [x4] [110]

I may trade tomorrow, if direction and price are right!
