Which would be quite a turn for the worse from the 12.5p announced in February for H1 with a confident outlook for H2 - "Building Envelope and Housebuilding Products ....good momentum going into the second half." and "Water Management... but a stronger performance is expected in H2 as a result of the next phase of the Chek Lap Kok airport project and other overseas project phasing"

FWIW Sharelockholmes is still showing a forecast 24.32p for the year, unchanged for the last 3 months.

Think the reason pull down has been because Peel Hunt cut their forecasts significantly at the start of April so that their full year EPS forecast is now 17.8p or something of that order of magnitude

Hi basem1, just saw your post on the I3E board and coincidentally I bought into ALU today! I had been waiting for recent trading volumes to increase before I got in and they have. Stocko indicating 60% more volume in the last 10 days compared to the last 3 months. Hopefully my timing here will be ok, fingers crossed!Good luck with your investments.

Think I was the one that bought at the top of the recent run at 173 initial position only small. This has been a surprising faller recently but just encourages the buying of more at these levels.

P/E <7. Yield 6%+ covered 2-3 times by eps. Growth returning... What's not to love?!
This was almost £3 when eps was 18p in 2021 - so topped out at a P/E of 16.7. Apply that to the forecast 24p EPS for a top target of 400p.

Resuming the upward trajectory. The share price has used the 25sma almost perfectly for support in the last 3 months. 200p as a target for the next few weeks.

The Alumasc Group plc posted Interims earlier in the week. Group revenues were up by 5% to £45.0m with organic growth and pricing offsetting significant export orders in the first half of the prior year. The underlying operating margin was 13.4% with underlying profit before tax of £5.6m, down a little from £6.3m a year ago. The dividend per share increased to 3.40p. The Board remains confident in the Group achieving its full year expectations, which would equate to roughly steady topline and a rebound in statutory profit. Valuation is attractive with forward PE around 6.5x top third for the Construction & Engineering market, dividend yield at 6.5% is ranked 2nd out of 13 names in the sector. Profitability ratios are high, the balance sheet is strong. But the share price lacks momentum and the macro environment is unhelpful for the sector. A little too soon to buy but well worth monitoring for the medium term...

All in line with expectations. The shares remain far too cheap and a bidder will eventually appear if they remain at these levels for long IMO.
