18/4/2023 18:19 | Thanks tonytike quite a coincidence Good to see you are a value hunter too I also like Look/ NXR / SRC / SUR / CNIC It certainly does not have to be all about oil Good luck | ![]() basem1
18/4/2023 18:07 | Which would be quite a turn for the worse from the 12.5p announced in February for H1 with a confident outlook for H2 - "Building Envelope and Housebuilding Products ....good momentum going into the second half." and "Water Management... but a stronger performance is expected in H2 as a result of the next phase of the Chek Lap Kok airport project and other overseas project phasing" FWIW Sharelockholmes is still showing a forecast 24.32p for the year, unchanged for the last 3 months. | ![]() valhamos
18/4/2023 17:41 | Think the reason pull down has been because Peel Hunt cut their forecasts significantly at the start of April so that their full year EPS forecast is now 17.8p or something of that order of magnitude Eric | ![]() pireric
18/4/2023 16:27 | Hi basem1, just saw your post on the I3E board and coincidentally I bought into ALU today! I had been waiting for recent trading volumes to increase before I got in and they have. Stocko indicating 60% more volume in the last 10 days compared to the last 3 months. Hopefully my timing here will be ok, fingers crossed!Good luck with your investments. | ![]() tonytyke2
18/4/2023 11:28 | Think I was the one that bought at the top of the recent run at 173 initial position only small. This has been a surprising faller recently but just encourages the buying of more at these levels. | ![]() cowie19
18/4/2023 11:24 | Silly cheap !! | ![]() basem1
17/3/2023 19:22 | Yeh just as.it seemed to be holding up against it just fine then sudden drop. Had same thing today on agfx. | ![]() doobz

15/3/2023 15:08 | Ehh? That drop came out of nowhere, any ideas? | ![]() doobz
01/3/2023 03:37 | Does anyone else agree that the Board are woefully overpaid here? | ![]() arthur_lame_stocks
28/2/2023 13:11 | Wonder if a fund is accumulating here. 10d/3m volume is +67%. Nice rebound from results day. | ![]() aishah
16/2/2023 11:18 | P/E <7. Yield 6%+ covered 2-3 times by eps. Growth returning... What's not to love?! This was almost £3 when eps was 18p in 2021 - so topped out at a P/E of 16.7. Apply that to the forecast 24p EPS for a top target of 400p. | ![]() dunns_river_falls
16/2/2023 08:35 | Excellent slow and steady recovery after small results sell off. 200 in sight now and clear first target. | ![]() doobz
15/2/2023 15:46 | Resuming the upward trajectory. The share price has used the 25sma almost perfectly for support in the last 3 months. 200p as a target for the next few weeks. | ![]() dunns_river_falls
10/2/2023 13:18 | The Alumasc Group plc posted Interims earlier in the week. Group revenues were up by 5% to £45.0m with organic growth and pricing offsetting significant export orders in the first half of the prior year. The underlying operating margin was 13.4% with underlying profit before tax of £5.6m, down a little from £6.3m a year ago. The dividend per share increased to 3.40p. The Board remains confident in the Group achieving its full year expectations, which would equate to roughly steady topline and a rebound in statutory profit. Valuation is attractive with forward PE around 6.5x top third for the Construction & Engineering market, dividend yield at 6.5% is ranked 2nd out of 13 names in the sector. Profitability ratios are high, the balance sheet is strong. But the share price lacks momentum and the macro environment is unhelpful for the sector. A little too soon to buy but well worth monitoring for the medium term... ...from WealthOracle | ![]() kalai1

07/2/2023 23:16 | Agreed Spooky - I’m just going to keep re- investing the dividends. This is a top notch management team for a small company. | ![]() terry topper
07/2/2023 07:50 | All in line with expectations. The shares remain far too cheap and a bidder will eventually appear if they remain at these levels for long IMO. | ![]() spooky
07/2/2023 07:33 | Yeh agreed definitely a hold for me, nothing to write home about but slow and steady this lot | ![]() doobz
07/2/2023 07:26 | Results look solid and confident in the full year target. Increased dividend albeit small increase. Record half year order book. | ![]() dunns_river_falls
07/2/2023 07:25 | Neutral statement I would suggest Some positives and some negatives Profit down on same period last year Small inc in divi and positive outlook | ![]() basem1
06/2/2023 18:16 | spooky could be, but judging by the spread at the time of most of those trades, 164 to 165, those 'sells' could well have been buys. | ![]() boozey
06/2/2023 16:57 | A sudden rush of sells into the close. I hope its not yet another example of insider trading ahead of a statement. | ![]() spooky
03/2/2023 14:21 | Next leg up hopefully Results on Tuesday | ![]() dunns_river_falls
30/1/2023 16:24 | Averaged up.on these today, finally building some momentum | ![]() doobz |
