28/5/2021 18:49 | Wow ..... great finish for the day | tdog1975
28/5/2021 18:33 | Looks like £3 may arrive a lot sooner than expected. | terry topper
14/5/2021 10:19 | 13.4p first half and an increasing market going into the peak building months bodes well. | deanowls
14/5/2021 09:25 | Finncap put out their note with revised estimates yesterday. Two things; the rating still looks too low on current estimates and as CB7 suggests, it looks likely that these forecasts are too conservative given the first half outcome and trading momentum in the 2nd half. Love the company's good operating margins, and strong cashflow. The green credentials of Alumasc products are an extra bonus! | redwing1
14/5/2021 07:55 | brokers may push out a note with increased estimates.... | cb7
13/5/2021 16:22 | I think your suggested figures are a minimum and they will do rather better. What it needs to move the price to a sensible level given this TU hs done nothing much at present I do not know. We will have to wait for the actual results I suppose. | trier1
13/5/2021 11:14 | my view too, CB7 | cellars
13/5/2021 08:01 | As I suggested, they have momentum "earnings ahead of expectations". My cautious view would be eps around 22-23, about 10% better - as they didnt use the words significant or materially. | cb7
17/4/2021 20:51 | according to my broker, two analysts have estimates for around 20 and 21 earnings this year and both are showing a modest rise to 22 next. My feeling is that the company has momentum and that just beating those estimates a litle, like 22 this and 25 next will produce your £3 with a p/e of 12. Having made 12 or 13 eps in the 1st half, there must be a possibility of them doing the same in H2, so the £3 could come sooner rather than later. | cb7
16/4/2021 19:33 | Foxman - Looking at the numbers reported and the bullishness of the comments from what is a cautious management team I think £3 is quite possible by the year end. The forecast numbers that the management team has tacitly approved are encouraging in their own right, and I think these will be significantly exceeded. | terry topper
16/4/2021 12:38 | Wow after the interims in Feb I was hoping that this would hit £2.00 by the end of the year! Maybe the share price is in the process of re-rating and instead of a p/e ratio of c10 it can sit between 12-15. Is £3.00 possible by year end? | foxman14
26/2/2021 08:07 | went xd yesterday, yet still managed to rise! | cb7
09/2/2021 14:31 | Housebuilders have had record order books for some considerable time. After the first lockdown in 2020 they were also well behind in their production. Heaven knows why the educated clowns at Westminster decided to throw billions away with a stamp duty holiday and stoke the market. That firepower should have been kept for later, if and when housebuilders needed support. | cb7
07/2/2021 15:52 | What are the chances of the stamp duty holiday being extended? Would be good news for housebuilders and estate agents... | johndoe23
04/2/2021 08:53 | Already updated eps projections from 14p to 20p on the trading update. These are low and easily upgradeable I agree but a few months wait until the impact of no help to buy and stamp duty back to normal seems reasonable. It's still cheap with no debt bar a pension scheme deficit that has reduced by 1/3 in the last 6 months it would seem. | trier1
04/2/2021 08:53 | Outstanding results. Very pleased, having bought in on the breakout of the chart just prior to Covid (Jan 2020), glad I kept my faith in the company. | taylor20
04/2/2021 08:46 | Really decent results | tdog1975
04/2/2021 07:22 | Wow I think some new broker upgrades required after those exceptional results and positive outlook. Nice divi too | bahiflyer

20/1/2021 10:27 | Alumasc featured in Investor's Champion update – record profit achieved. The shares rose 20% on the news to 137p lifting the market capitalisation to £49m. Given the current lowly rating the shares should continue to move higher. | energeticbacker
19/1/2021 13:56 | I’m in on the next dip! | ny boy
19/1/2021 12:55 | Worked out really well this one as per the post in September last year. That's a whopper of a beat with FinnCap upgrading 2021 eps 39% to 19.9p. You don't often see that magnitude of upgrade so well done to all holders here. It looks like there could be another 10-20% upside here without pushing the boat out on the rating. All imo DYOR | sphere25
19/1/2021 11:20 | The TU has blown the estimated full year earnings out of the water. Far far too cheap. | trier1 |
