08/12/2020 19:05 | 2020 is a “ lost year” here. Optimistically, the timing of receipt of the $17 million loan, the $10 million bond receipts, the long delivery time plant and machinery, and the backlog of issues that needed addressing , have now been completed. The new $6 million loan provides further a ability to focus on mine improvements. You could say that years of chronic underinvestment are being addressed but the production improvements will come through in 2021. Pessimistically, you could say they don’t know how to improve production and no amount of money will improve a badly managed mine.. Personally, I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but if Q1 2021 doesn’t show a material change, put us out of our misery and flog the assets. An annual run rate of 15,000 oz is no where near good enough and is certainly irreconcilable with what will be c. $35 million of investment over the last 15 months. | ![]() highly geared
08/12/2020 18:54 | What a disappointing day, hopefully we can have a quick turn around next 2-3 Quarters with a improving gold price throughout next year. nursing a 32% loss here at present looking to average down, looking at the chart gap around 100p could drift around there time will tell. | ![]() avsome1968
08/12/2020 18:34 | This person is a disrupter on other boards as well, I suggest filtering and then they will go away and disrupt somewhere else. | ![]() cyberbub
08/12/2020 16:18 | How about we all try to get back to posting about Altyn? Does nothing for prospective investors to see a BB devoid of comments about the share the bb was set up for. | ![]() harrisun
08/12/2020 16:17 | My concern is that I inadvertently raised an issue in good faith, but its taken a decidedly wrong turn, and I wish I'd never raised it, even though it was not disbelieving you or believing you, and I think you understand that in view of my comments | ![]() harrisun
08/12/2020 16:16 | "Hiding behind my PC"! You really are a juvenile - My name is there for all to see! | ![]() nevgroom
08/12/2020 15:55 | JC. On this Board ask Tightfist who is here occasionally or Chip. I have met them both at Proactive events in Mayfair. Nevgroom. Yet another cowardly comment hiding behind your PC when you think there are 2 of you. I see exactly why you are a Dem supporter. | ![]() stevea171
08/12/2020 15:51 | The 2 largest share price mark downs of the year have come the day of the Q1 and Q3 production updates........where is that radio silence when you need it ! | ![]() sloppyg
08/12/2020 15:10 | The consolidation does seem to have greatly narrowed the spread. Last time I bought here the spread was a punishing 20%, this time it's more like 3.5%. | goodgrief
08/12/2020 14:39 | "Hmmm" Indeed JC | ![]() nevgroom
08/12/2020 14:35 | Steve: We are agreed on some things. You don't care whether I believe you, and I don't care whether you do or don't have equivalent of 10 million. You take it the wrong way. I don't know one way or another, the same goes for you with regards other posters. That's why I only go for the share potential and I do look at the history and the potential. As ever its always whether that potential can be realised. Nothing personal, good luck. | ![]() harrisun
08/12/2020 14:32 | "I have had a finance role in a Ftse100 household name company for many years. So I have vast experience of management and operations" "I'm not here to promote myself" Hmmm. | ![]() jc2706
08/12/2020 14:26 | I care not what you believe. I'm not here to promote myself, just responding to your polite question. Which Boards are you referring to exactly? If the management and the company are performing I am happy. It seems you are strong on researching me but more importantly what research have you done on the Assaubeyev's? | ![]() stevea171
08/12/2020 14:20 | Your posts suggest less than enthusiasm for the boards you post on. Good luck if you have 10 million, but a bb means you can own the world. | ![]() harrisun
08/12/2020 13:22 | Harrisun. I have been around these boards for many years and have been a long term investor in many companies in that time. Also I have had a finance role in a Ftse100 household name company for many years. So I have vast experience of management and operations. This is one of my largest holdings. Over 10 million shares in old money despite taking some profits to reinvest in companies that have decent management and are actually performing (like EQT). I've not been here as long as Tim but long enough to have clear sight and understanding of this company backsliding and withholding market sensitive information that should be disclosed but isn't. You are new here. But I suggest you take a look at their previous form and then nothing here will surprise you .... | ![]() stevea171
08/12/2020 13:11 | Tim did you not have a chance to sell back in the summer then? | ![]() cyberbub
08/12/2020 13:11 | Maybe the owners are happy with their lot and just want to bumble along instead of grafting? | ![]() bsg
08/12/2020 13:00 | Steve. Thanks for your opinion, but looking at your posts here and elsewhere I strongly suspect you don't have a share, which would suggest some other reason to post rather than altruism. | ![]() harrisun
08/12/2020 12:58 | Tim. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. Some here just whistling in the wind to protect their investment imo. | ![]() stevea171
08/12/2020 12:47 | I reain astonished at the optimism of some here. I have waited over ten years to get my 3p back. | ![]() timgw
08/12/2020 12:11 | The market is still somewhat distorted in ALTN, with HSBC is is still not possible to buy, you can only sell, this is a consequence of the consolidation. I do wonder if other platforms are sell only, also interesting to hear about Spread Bet companies playing games which assists the share price drop. I think this will bounce hard once usual two way trading resumes at some point. | ![]() observer007
08/12/2020 12:08 | ODR, exactly, they have more skin in the game than anyone, so are highly motivated to make this a success. The elevated gold price environment is the enabler for c$35 million of mine CAPEX that is being spent. So, its fundamentally in their interests to get this sorted out or sell it profitably for the benefit of all shareholders. | ![]() highly geared |
