08/12/2020 14:26 | I care not what you believe. I'm not here to promote myself, just responding to your polite question. Which Boards are you referring to exactly? If the management and the company are performing I am happy. It seems you are strong on researching me but more importantly what research have you done on the Assaubeyev's? | stevea171
08/12/2020 14:20 | Your posts suggest less than enthusiasm for the boards you post on. Good luck if you have 10 million, but a bb means you can own the world. | harrisun
08/12/2020 13:22 | Harrisun. I have been around these boards for many years and have been a long term investor in many companies in that time. Also I have had a finance role in a Ftse100 household name company for many years. So I have vast experience of management and operations. This is one of my largest holdings. Over 10 million shares in old money despite taking some profits to reinvest in companies that have decent management and are actually performing (like EQT). I've not been here as long as Tim but long enough to have clear sight and understanding of this company backsliding and withholding market sensitive information that should be disclosed but isn't. You are new here. But I suggest you take a look at their previous form and then nothing here will surprise you .... | stevea171
08/12/2020 13:11 | Tim did you not have a chance to sell back in the summer then? | cyberbub
08/12/2020 13:11 | Maybe the owners are happy with their lot and just want to bumble along instead of grafting? | bsg
08/12/2020 13:00 | Steve. Thanks for your opinion, but looking at your posts here and elsewhere I strongly suspect you don't have a share, which would suggest some other reason to post rather than altruism. | harrisun
08/12/2020 12:58 | Tim. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. Some here just whistling in the wind to protect their investment imo. | stevea171
08/12/2020 12:47 | I reain astonished at the optimism of some here. I have waited over ten years to get my 3p back. | timgw
08/12/2020 12:11 | The market is still somewhat distorted in ALTN, with HSBC is is still not possible to buy, you can only sell, this is a consequence of the consolidation. I do wonder if other platforms are sell only, also interesting to hear about Spread Bet companies playing games which assists the share price drop. I think this will bounce hard once usual two way trading resumes at some point. | observer007
08/12/2020 12:08 | ODR, exactly, they have more skin in the game than anyone, so are highly motivated to make this a success. The elevated gold price environment is the enabler for c$35 million of mine CAPEX that is being spent. So, its fundamentally in their interests to get this sorted out or sell it profitably for the benefit of all shareholders. | highly geared
08/12/2020 11:54 | lets see what they are made of now | onedayrodders
08/12/2020 11:48 | Glorious top up opportunity | excellance
08/12/2020 11:34 | Still think this will turn out well over longer term - topped up today as I don't think we'll get a better opportunity - we are through the .618 retrace of move up from May 2019 and IF we drift further to 96 (the .786 retrace) then I'll have some more. Only sorry that spread is so large! | the dark horse
08/12/2020 11:18 | HG, my thoughts exactly. If the BOD issue 20m shares at say 1.15 they can pay off all debt and fund expansion out of the remainder and generated cash, and if our new investor happens to be a half decent miner that has the kit, skill and infrastructure then we are laughing. Bring it on! | excellance
08/12/2020 11:12 | The other question is why has it taken till 8th December to get out an update for Q3?! | king suarez
08/12/2020 11:03 | King. Expect this to go back up when spread bet companies stop playing. Of course its over done, and if its closing markets only, then the only buys to offset stops hit are via the market, where many spread bet gamblers do not have the money to buy the actual shares, and get punished accordingly. That in my opinion is when bargains are to be had. | harrisun
08/12/2020 10:59 | Around 1/3 of the market cap is sitting around in mined, but not yet milled, ore from the last 3 quarters - frustrating! An investors Q&A would go a long way to restoring some confidence, but that appears unlikely. Just have to hang in there and take them at their word. I am annoyed at the lack of info and guidance, but continue to hold for now. | king suarez
08/12/2020 10:58 | They could have done an MBO for the last 6 years and at a much lower share price! That isn’t going to happen. I still think this is either being slowly packaged up for a sale or they’re looking for a new cornerstone investor to take some equity and inject capital or mining wherewithal. Worth hanging on for another 6 months to see how this shapes up. The assets are huge and worth £ billions if they can be successfully mined.. | highly geared
08/12/2020 10:54 | Bouncing strongly now. Scary for those who bought at higher prices, but the news today really isn't that bad, the drop orchestrated, We'll probably close near 130 | excellance
08/12/2020 10:52 | Or a good day here depending on perspective. | harrisun
08/12/2020 10:50 | Crazy .. ECR helping to offset a poor day here | onedayrodders
08/12/2020 10:49 | So much so that I had my order for 50000 unavailable, so they have to be picked up in bits. | harrisun |
