09/10/2020 15:31 | Looking good. Probably due to the POG rise. I think we need to close above 1950 for a few days to break the POG down channel though... | cyberbub
09/10/2020 15:21 | PoG has tended to fall or stagnate at around 3pm over the last fortnight - No such signs of that today. Nice end to the week.... | nevgroom

09/10/2020 10:07 | You may be right, but regardless I expect we'll see improvement and upgrades to nail on further improvements down the line. Gold up £20 today so far | excellance
09/10/2020 09:14 | ....which is why i reckon the second stage of the mill maintenance/ refurb will be done in Q3 and so am expecting some mill down time as a result. They've historically done their maintenance in August, i guess in preparation for winter. But still looking for a step change up in performance particularly as regards grade. Q4 can then push on further hopefully | vish65
08/10/2020 19:09 | having worked with a PLC from management buyout, venture capital funding, development then eventual sale to a major US blue chip...i can tell you that they do "hold stuff back" because they want a happy ending! so, they have a structured plan, and focus on "smoothing the curve". It is no good spending money, upgrading capital equipment, then getting ahead of the curve, impressing investors only to disappoint them later. So, in my opinion, they are "holding stuff back" to ensure they always have positive momentum. Q2 was an improvement over Q! because they massively improved the quantity of ore mined, but chose to do some maintenance and upgrades to the mill, and managed to miss the cut off for the sale of 718oz of gold. My guess is Q3 will be a significant improvement again, but they will leave some fuel in the tank to ensure Q4 is again an improvement. | excellance
08/10/2020 18:27 | enough with the "holding back" ... show me the money ! | onedayrodders
08/10/2020 17:44 | from the Q2 report... "Revenues were flat given timing differences of the sale of production to the refinery. As such, revenues from the gold produced of 718oz in 2Q20 will accrue in 3Q20." Gold poured ounces Q2 3,610 Q1 3,380 Revenue USD m 4.58 4.58 Ore mining output up a significant 55% quarter-over-quarter with 143,400 tons of ore mined in 2Q20 (92,324 tons in 1Q20). The positive momentum in production growth is expected to be maintained over the coming quarters. Average grade came in line with our internal budgets at 1.5g/t. Significant capital and horizontal development are being currently undertaken at the mine. In addition, the new exploration drilling equipment that only arrived at the end of the second quarter should substantially reduce dilution and improve grades in 2H20 in line with our annual budget. Ore milled was impacted by scheduled maintenance work at the processing plant required to service the mill, the screen and one of the tanks. so, in Q3 we have gold poured carried over from the previous quarter, we have the benefit of new equipment which should improve grades, and we have (hopefully) the mill working for a full quarter and not down for weeks due to maintenance and upgrades. Q3 should see a marked improvement, unless again they are holding stuff back... | excellance
08/10/2020 13:36 | This will recover, a good time to accumulate at this price as I did yesterday and will do again. | driver101

08/10/2020 07:33 | Good post excellence. I agree but it is now “ time to deliver”. Let’s see how the next 6 months unfold. It remains one for the patient. I’m here for a share price of 10-12p and a 7 figure return on my investment. | highly geared

07/10/2020 18:21 | It is amazing how long it's taken, digging out an open pit, using the cash from that to fund drilling and development while the price of gold was drifting lower, down to $1100 or so. All the while hardly diluting, moving hundreds of thousands of tonnes of low grade ore, until those ducks started to line up. Like Eurasia Mining, who took 12 years, these have actually done a good job, and they have changed from hibernation to development. Ok, I have only been here since June last year, when it became glaringly obvious with those fund raising, that at 0.60p this was a fantastic opportunity. I bought a boat load and still have them. Another 3 years and these will be very valuable, maybe 20p No point whinging about those lost years, the worm has turned, the golden years will soon be here. | excellance
07/10/2020 17:18 | Nevgroom. How long have you been here? 3 months isn't it? So that period takes very little patience to hold. Giving trite advice when you are new to the company and have little experience of this management is worthless. >>> "They have no reason to rush things." Rush things? In terms of production and profitability they have accomplished next to nothing in the last 7 years since they took over. A snail moves faster than this management. How many other gold miners do you know of with this kind of track record? As HG says, if they don't come up with some decent results for H2/2020 THEY should sell and put their money into a business they understand and are good at. | stevea171 |
