soulcatcher – I disagree! The statistics are right — they are just based on infinitesimal volumes! This is ALT’s “get out of jail card”…”Oh sorry...we didn't tell you that all the averages are based on 15 visitors?”. If it’s not, as you wrote, share the data.

Most of the “investorsR21; here have their heads in the sand and want to believe that “we just need to give the ALT management more time”.

Sanjay’s resignation appears to make more sense now. He was the Legal Counsel at Lastminute.com. I stress the word “Legal"...I am waiting to see if Gellan jumps ship. He has a great reputation. If we are right, will he want to have it sullied…

I agree – I suspect that they are loading all their bets on the new hire to try and get them out of the mess they find themselves in so that they don’t have to explain the analytics at a later date. If she manages to pull things off she will deserve her 60p shares but this is an extremely high risk strategy.

You hit the nail head with your explanation of ALT’s predicament. All this talk of disruption is just “pie in the sky” ramblings. Where’s the cohesive strategy?

I agree with you completely that it has slow car crash written all over it but when it comes it’s going to be spectacular. I am hoping that the share price rises to Finncap’s 109p recommendation. It will make a fabulous short. :-)

Absolutely no chance a retail site would have an average 35 pages per visit... none...nada....zero....zilch, i work in e commerce. Get altitude to publish their analytics, which they won't.

Looks like desperate times.....also why if Altitude had great relations with its customer base would they buy adproducts to build out their UK offering when they are concentrating on the USA, from what i hear MV dropped an absolute clanger at a trade show and alienated most of the suppliers and they just don't trust CF keeping it a trade only platform. The big distributors will not use channl as they will build their own commerce site to stay in control, the small distributors are mainly an older clientele i.e bedroom operators to make a small income who do not trust technology and not great adopters. this has slow car crash written all over it !

In fact...the average number of pages viewed per visit could well be an outstanding 35 per visit IF the number of visits were outstandingly small, i.e. the outlier effect.

Does this explain why ALT just so happened to not confirm the actual numbers in increased visitors and relied on the oldest statistical cheat in the book (it's even covered in the book "how to lie with statistics") by stating the average and no more.

Crazy, eh? It's called being well read and spotting how some companies lie with statistics and TRY to get away with it...

Btw, I think London Stock Exchange should delete Altitude RNS when they announce the same strategic partnership twice.

Whats the point with a discussion board, when admin delete any critical post, even when its support by information from the company RNS.

Hhdd1 I dont agreeWhy should they say more .The chairman tells us what we need to know i that they have a plan and they are busy executing it .His and the boards concern shouldn't be whether the share price can be increased straight away It should be in telling us what their plan is to crack into the huge potential market I think the problem here is shareholders ant action now and wont wait .My view is if that is what you want , you are in the wrong share . We need to let the board run the company and in the end i feel they will deliver all we want and more I understand why others havent the patience to wait , but i do and i willTime will tell who is right and who is wrong

Sheep herder. As always i agree with you 100% The best thing here would be for those shareholders who don't see the potential to move on and leave it to those of us who are happy with the way the board are going This stock will fly once the real revenues are generated and generated they will be.I feel the new appointment in the US is just what we needed Give the Board a break . And let them do their job Those that sell and leave now will regret it but TBH we are better off without them imho

This is a poor set of results and an admission of failure for the project to date. The point is that they have only had interest from distributors where they have been able to devote training time. There are thousands of these distributors in a very fragmented market so it is going to take a lot of training time and resource. The appointment of a new exec in the USA looks like a last roll of the dice to try to gain traction. Who knows, it might work but the odds are against it in my view. Have sold my remaining shares. good luck to those still in.

Very good summary Lowflow. Management are full of bs. Its funny how they didn't bother to repeat the size of the US market but decided to mention how big the UK market is. Why not focus on what your company is doing rather talk about size of market opportunity all the time. Especially when you are making almost zero progress in getting any of that market share. Im surprised the shares are still where they are. At some point they have to show revenue growth. No sign of that anywhere so far.

lowflow - I am with you mate.

15.5 visits, up from from 10 visits is a 55% increase.

It doesn't take a Data Scientist to figure out that you need the base to understand what the % increase means.

I wonder why ALT failed to conveniently provide the base? The words "pull" "wool" and "eyes" spring to mind.

I am out of here. Going to go and have a drink with Sanjay. 😎🍺
