Probably already mentioned here but Finncap are forecasting pretax profits of £0.5m and eps of 0.8p for the current year which ends in December.Nothing to write home about but that eps figure represent a jump of 371% compared to last year.
However for 2018 which is just a couple of months away, the broker has penciled in pretax of £3.6m and eps 5.2p,a massive jump of 550%.With the stock trading at 70p,that translates to a prospective PE of 13.5x and a negligible PEG!

Cheap as chips if they deliver on forecasts.

Some absurd comments regarding uptake.

Read post 4392 with an open mind and very quickly you realise that if the initial uptake is an abject failure at 3% of USA market the margin involved is enormous.

Therefore, 'failure' in real terms is hardly applicable. But supposin the uptake is a modest 24% what terms do we use then? FANBLOODYTASTIC.

Agreed Northwards I cant see the main shareholders selling for £5 let alone 50p and the key shareholders hasn't changed for a long time This share maybe traded a lot but it is tightly held in terms of real shareholding

nw99 - that would be a decent short term trade, but on a longer term view, the potential here is truly huge.

If ALT delivers on its medium term ambition, we could see $126m in revenues arising from Channl - that's around £97m based on current xchange rates. Even if overheads grow significantly [I've no reason to assume they would], we could be looking at a company delivering c pre tax profit of £70M-£80M pa !

Even on a conservative PE of 12, that equates to a market cap of £900M !

If we do see early shoots of delivery, this will spike dramatically ... each to his own, but don't be tempted to sell too early.

The rise was based on no substance whatsoever..... Can't wait to see the car crash that is going to be their full year results. Price is only going one way.

It's not that strange. There was a tip at the weekend so it rose hugely on that. In the absence of news those gains will be given up. But when will there be news is the question!
