Some of you might wonder how on earth I knew Blackrock's position was now 4.99% before the RNS issued just now. I got the data from Simply WallSt website which shows they reported crossing 5% threshold on 21st Feb. I guess the data reporting systems used by Simply WallSt are a little ahead of the process of reporting the same information to the Exchange. I see Sehat is at it again. He's got until 29th March at which point he will have to zip up his pockets for awhile.

I watched the Capital Markets Day presentation last night. Hugely impressive. Will be building a big position here.

I've been taking a closer look at recent institutional transactions on AWE.
Among the top 17 institutional holders in roughly the last six months:
6 institutions have disposed of approximately 51.2 million shares,
and 9 have acquired approximately 37.1 million shares between them.

Biggest sellers have been Blackrock (14 million) and Wise Road Capital (31.7 million).
Biggest buyers have been Artisan (12.6 million), Capital Research (8.6 million) and Fidelity (5 million). Fidelity may well have bought significantly more in the last six months as I can only see their activity since 13th February. Fidelity are now the largest institutional holders with 5.72% as per Friday's RNS.

There are now currently only two short positions above 0.5%,
AKO Capital with 0.66% (last reported 11 October) and
Kuvari Partners with 0.59% (last reported 28 October).
At one time (in 2021) there were about 5 or 6 with a combined short position of around 5%.

Between October and February there have 5.96 million shares purchased by directors. mostly by Sehat.

The 6 institutions that have been selling still hold approximately 10% between them (72.1 million shares). Blackrock last reported 4.99% on 21 Feb. The others last reported on 3rd January. Kabouter and Wise Road were at approximately 2% each. It's possible that they have since completely relinquished their holdings. Difficult to know. It may not be too long now before we start to see an upward trend. Depends on Blackrock's intentions. They may have just sought to reduce to less than 5% or could be still looking to relinquish completely.

Alphawave should go into their closed period in about 3 weeks time.
Results should be in line with what they reported at their Capital Markets Day Presentation, with possibly a little bit more revenue and profit than expected.
With the recent Banias Labs acquisition AWE now have a net debt of about 35 million USD but with a healthy balance sheet and growing revenues etc.
I calculated the P/S ratio to now be about 2.1 (lowered due to the instant revenue coming from the OpenFive acquisition).

If in fact it is the FT article causing broad market sentiment, then i think it's created a huge opportunity here as clearly recognised by the directors, who is chucking in millions here don't forget, this is not his pocket change!

Market sentiment on tech stock would be my guess. Macro has been ignored by the markets. Reality is starting to happen. Hopefully fundamentals of this stock will shine through. Ill buy it all the way down so dont really care what happens in the short ro medium term.
