Kenny ...flying share price on reducing volume, usually not good. Got ahead of itself? Needs to break out of that ghastly downward channel. Imho course!

"Please take a look at FT article that caused the share price to fall"

The FT article was one of my catalysts to prompt me to invest here recently. Alphawave's statement towards the end of that article and the 18 months that have passed since show that they have actually always maintained transparency.

Whilst Alphawave was founded in 2017, what made that company, has history going back almost a decade further. Regardless of what one may think of the £3 billion IPO valuation, you only need to understand how they have since invested the raised capital in acquisitions that sets them up to become a leading business in the semi-connectivity industry. It's very clear to me that they have already shifted their focus from China (which wasn't really a focus as so much as an initial stepping stone) to the rest of the world, particularly North America.

Allied Market Research (from their Sept 2022 report) predicts a doubling in revenue from the Semiconductor sector over the next decade to over a $trillion, equating to a CAGR of around 6.2%. Alphawave's focus on high end technology with increased speeds and lower power consumption means their particular corner of the sector will grow even faster still.

Deloitte have made their recommendations to the semi industry to move more manufacturing away from Asia and into North America and Europe. If the industry follows this advice then it will likely significantly increase the growth rate for those areas. Companies like Alphawave should stand to benefit greatly.

The founder and CEO is former vice president of Intel, he has a history of startups and selling them on, is AWE going to be the next?

Bought in yesterday and added more this morning. Impressed with the company's strategy and growth prospects. Still doing further research but the company seems to be well regarded in the industry.

Billionaire Sehat Sutardja continues to snap up shares in Alphawave IP

03 March 2023, 16:35

- Alphawave IP director goes on a buying spree

- He’s been an active buyer of stock throughout February

- Also in director dealings, Atome Energy CEO buys 2% stake from chairman

Alphawave IP (AWE) executive director Sehat Sutardja has gone on a buying spree again with the purchase of 800,000 shares in the UK-based technology company (specialising in wired connectivity solutions) for 90p each, valuing the purchase price at £719,840 on 27 February.

This purchase brings the Sutardja’s aggregate family holding of shares in the company to 96,275,358, representing 13.83% of the company’s issued share capital.

Sutardja is no stranger to buying the company’s shares. Earlier in the month he spent £1.75 million on stock. The director is best known for co-founding Marvell Technology (MRVL:NASDAQ), a semiconductor group currently valued at $36 billion.

Alphawave is scheduled to report full-year results and a first quarter trading update on 28 April. It is forecast to report a $48.6 million pre-tax profit.

AWE and WAND - two of the best ways to ride the unstoppable growth in data.

A zettabyte is a multiple of the unit byte that measures digital storage, and it is equivalent to 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10^21) bytes.

One zettabyte is approximately equal to 1,000 exabytes or 1 billion terabytes.
