07/3/2023 14:54 | "Please take a look at FT article that caused the share price to fall" The FT article was one of my catalysts to prompt me to invest here recently. Alphawave's statement towards the end of that article and the 18 months that have passed since show that they have actually always maintained transparency. Whilst Alphawave was founded in 2017, what made that company, has history going back almost a decade further. Regardless of what one may think of the £3 billion IPO valuation, you only need to understand how they have since invested the raised capital in acquisitions that sets them up to become a leading business in the semi-connectivity industry. It's very clear to me that they have already shifted their focus from China (which wasn't really a focus as so much as an initial stepping stone) to the rest of the world, particularly North America. Allied Market Research (from their Sept 2022 report) predicts a doubling in revenue from the Semiconductor sector over the next decade to over a $trillion, equating to a CAGR of around 6.2%. Alphawave's focus on high end technology with increased speeds and lower power consumption means their particular corner of the sector will grow even faster still. Deloitte have made their recommendations to the semi industry to move more manufacturing away from Asia and into North America and Europe. If the industry follows this advice then it will likely significantly increase the growth rate for those areas. Companies like Alphawave should stand to benefit greatly. | dividevil | |
