Can the last one out please turn off the light... |
Those who didn't sell are now unprotected and in the hands of weasel words terrible comms and a colourful past of bad performance and returns having followed the pied piper like lemmings over the cliff. |
What i took from the call was this
Auditors still not appointed after 6 months but hopefull of a conclusion. But nothing certain
No explanation as to why GS etc set up a new mining company just recently
Expect to relist in Q3 but no guarantee. No confirmation which index
Definitely dilution to relist. No detail but to achieve 30m relist level it's going to be big
Lets be clear this is a loss making company. Profitable only this year after a considerable cut in expenses.
Many other questions submitted in writing were not answered.
No acceptance or apology by the BOD for damaging SV over the last 5 years and most recently for the delist.
Lots of promises but we've heard these for 5 awful years. |
My key takeaways from the call yesterday as a long standing TR1 holder:1. Auditors - They explained the issue with the auditors on the call fairly well and I've seen their exchanges with the FCA. They mentioned on the call they were expecting a proposal from their 'preferred' new auditor yesterday / by the end of the week so it sounds like it should be an issue that is finally coming to a close.2. They talked about putting another call in with shareholders post the delisting on the 15/4 so they can share some of the detail behind their planned acquisition and how they'll finance it. That also sounded very well progressed and given the comments in the Allenby broker note last year I wouldn't be surprised if its all agreed in principle and just waiting for them to be able to execute which they've now concluded needs them to delist.3. They talked about firm plans to relist in Q3. This is much faster than I had assumed and adds weight to what they said in the RNS. It also adds weight to the M&A being very well advanced. Especially given how long acquisitions take in such a highly regulated environment.4. As we all know the unknown around any potential dilution to fund a large acquisition is the elephant in the room. My view - the first big acquisition they made was $370m AUM for $3.3m. So to get to 2B it could cost somewhere in the region of $11m? We've $5m in cash and with the $1m profit we made last year maybe its starting to feel attainable without a huge dilution. Also with the Director purchases yesterday - would they bother buying if they were about to dilute the hell out of the company? All in all still happy to continue to hold for the long term and following the interim accounts am very happy with the progress the company is making. The very healthy profit they delivered shows that the business model is working and if the planned acquisitions get us to 2B AUM as seems likely the increased scale of the company and the economies of scale will really start to work for us. |
Why would you be seeing anyone's Q&As Steve?
Fact is they'll only pick in advance the questions they want to ask not the tough awkward questions like the mining New co, the weasel words the Auditors the loss making accounts, GS minimal shareholding etc etc
It's another stage managed farce like the share price and the BOD blaming the market not their poor PR management and delivery. |
From another poster on LSE
I will definitely be there to ask GS the difficult questions if it’s live discussion and not being muted by asking audiences to put the question in advance , so to give the BoD get out of jail card!
You can post what’s your opinion rather than a nonsense speculation of recovery.
The market has voted your shares down and they know better than you and me. I am here to warn investors to avoid listening to the pumpers.
This is a free bb and the share price would be affected by what we post here.
The company couldn’t afford to pay the AIM listing maintenance fees due to AGLW continuing making loss. Not a single quarter in profit included the latest one when they declared profit out of cutting expenses costs! |
Thanks guys for the clear update of the situation i think i will take a huge loss tommorrow to have capitol loss for this tax year.Hence asking the question. |
Gipps - Watch out for those using FUD to get people to sell at the current depressed price to pick up shares on the cheap. As per the 13m share buy last week there is still plenty of demand out there. |
Jeez
Expects to May Anticipate
No guarantee it will relist and no guaranteed timeframe
Expect to relist by Q1 2026 or perhaps earlier if it does.
You can do nothing until it relists....your money is trapped. If they relist you can sell.
If they don't relist but it gets sold it depends upon the deal of the sale as to what you get and when.
If they get taken over your shares could be issued with a new higher or lesser value via dilution. More shares less value or less shares more value....depends.
Could take years or maybe never relist. Or could be 6 months and you win....big gamble.
So far this lot have a chequered history of non delivery or poor delivery and a colourful past plus GS has recently set up a mining company y who know and you now?
CEO GS has little personal cash shares himself
Auditors left and didn't leave a good review
Accounts are unqualified.
Personally I'd take my money out but if you believe and trust them hold. |
They delist and you continue to hold your shares in ALGW. They just arent listed on a public market so it is harder to value them and sell them. The company continues to run, publish accounts, give updates etc though not via RNS. Time passes, they execute their M&A strategy and the larger company decides it's time to relist. Your holding becomes tradable on the public market again. |
So if they de list and then re list at a later stage does that mean we have a new investment but in a company that you cant sell your shares Help needed to understand |
I guess they read the RNS. |
No idea why people still invrsting in this GARBAGE? |
Asian markets fell sharply on Friday, led by steep declines in Japanese and South Korean automaker stocks, after US president Donald Trump confirmed a 25% tariff on auto imports set to begin next week. The move intensified fears of a global trade war, prompting carmakers like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen to warn of price hikes and consider shifting production to the US or absorbing rising costs. With nearly $20 billion wiped from Japan's top carmakers in just three days, and reciprocal tariffs expected soon, investor anxiety has surged. While most automakers face uncertainty, Tesla remained largely unaffected due to its domestic manufacturing. In contrast, gold soared to a record high above $3,000 per ounce, up over 17% this quarter, as traders sought safe havens amid escalating trade tensions. |

News soon Steve and ya mates lol
Well let's focus on the grammar not the 150k plus you've ploughed into this at substantially higher prices.
Let's avoid the RNS words like expect and hope and intend
Let's avoid talking about the real issues.
Like the mining company GS and his mates have just set up or the dissapointing record and colourful past.
Diversion and attack.......
I certainly won't be following your investing lol
No point sending a Telegram they'll be shut for business soon enough and you couldn't predict Christmas let alone news, you tried and failed 3 times on this thread lol
🩳🩳 are looking good for 0.02 as people bale out of isa's and delisting |
Terminator10131 Dec '20 - 12:31 - 5553 of 6309 0 0 2 The one that says they are running out of cash rapidly.
Haven’t you noticed it’s down 20% mate.
Car crash. ------ Terminator10131 Dec '20 - 12:52 - 5554 of 6309 0 0 2 Don’t take if from me mate, it’s the company that have said they desperately need cash.
“In December 2020 the Company entered into a placing agreement with its broker to raise up to a further £500,000 through the issue of placing shares'” ----- ----- Terminator1017 Jan '21 - 23:19 - 5568 of 6309 0 0 0 Yet more funding to keep Gobind’s lifestyle company going. ------ |
Olli, don't be a talker, be a doer. Short it, tell us how much and when so we can follow your expertise. But, you won't will you? |
Worth a short here? |
Would have been a good play - its rebound well. Still massively underwater
The reason for delisting sounded good.
I May have missed the boat.

Boooooooommmm!!!! |
you were doing forensic reading.... many were poking fun of you.... but you were right.....
i too learned to do forensic reading over the years on AIM
all open sentences, leading sentences etc are huge red flags |
From the latest RNS
"plan to relist the Company at the earliest opportunity."
And there we have it, no will relist as they could and should have said to allay fears..........and again No timeframe.
Then there's the usual limited numbers and lots of expect to should but no actual projections.
This is yet another slippery set of words from a company whose history is littered with weasel words poor comms and plenty of poor behaviour and delivery.
Auditors...
Delisting...expect plan to
AUM by or in |
looks like your prayer has worked, good results out. |
