Asian markets fell sharply on Friday, led by steep declines in Japanese and South Korean automaker stocks, after US president Donald Trump confirmed a 25% tariff on auto imports set to begin next week. The move intensified fears of a global trade war, prompting carmakers like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen to warn of price hikes and consider shifting production to the US or absorbing rising costs. With nearly $20 billion wiped from Japan's top carmakers in just three days, and reciprocal tariffs expected soon, investor anxiety has surged. While most automakers face uncertainty, Tesla remained largely unaffected due to its domestic manufacturing. In contrast, gold soared to a record high above $3,000 per ounce, up over 17% this quarter, as traders sought safe havens amid escalating trade tensions. |

News soon Steve and ya mates lol
Well let's focus on the grammar not the 150k plus you've ploughed into this at substantially higher prices.
Let's avoid the RNS words like expect and hope and intend
Let's avoid talking about the real issues.
Like the mining company GS and his mates have just set up or the dissapointing record and colourful past.
Diversion and attack.......
I certainly won't be following your investing lol
No point sending a Telegram they'll be shut for business soon enough and you couldn't predict Christmas let alone news, you tried and failed 3 times on this thread lol
🩳🩳 are looking good for 0.02 as people bale out of isa's and delisting |

Olli, don't be a talker, be a doer. Short it, tell us how much and when so we can follow your expertise. But, you won't will you? |
Worth a short here? |
Would have been a good play - its rebound well. Still massively underwater
The reason for delisting sounded good.
I May have missed the boat.

Boooooooommmm!!!! |
you were doing forensic reading.... many were poking fun of you.... but you were right.....
i too learned to do forensic reading over the years on AIM
all open sentences, leading sentences etc are huge red flags |
From the latest RNS
"plan to relist the Company at the earliest opportunity."
And there we have it, no will relist as they could and should have said to allay fears..........and again No timeframe.
Then there's the usual limited numbers and lots of expect to should but no actual projections.
This is yet another slippery set of words from a company whose history is littered with weasel words poor comms and plenty of poor behaviour and delivery.
Auditors...
Delisting...expect plan to

looks like your prayer has worked, good results out. |
OUCH...OUCH. Am i seeing the share price is 0.3?.....There were certain posters that need to say Sorry to those that bought due to the Ramping. |

RE: My ThoughtsToday 07:45 Ray bands
Perhaps you can explain
1) Why GS etc have set up a number of new coS one of which is for mining?
2) why there were unusually several large sells weeks at low prices 900k 1.18p 600k 500k and many many more before the official RNS
3) why was the RNS so badly worded as you claim given this is supoed to be a high flying top team who know what they are doing and will have obviously taken PR and Comms as well as legal advice.
4) why TR1 holders have not been briefed after the RNS together if you are so important
5) why TR1 holders have paper lost so much and been unhappy allegedly with the companies actions progress and PR. Let's face it they've not made very good investment decisions.......5 years and substantial paper losses and now a delisting.
6) why the RNS contains more and typical weasel words and slippery statements.. They take little or no ownership for the poor shareholder value but instead attempt to blame others and the market.
Reality is their delivery has been poor.....so has their Comms SM etc. They've wiped 70% off the value in 1 move from an all time low. They've created uncertainty of relisting and wiggle room not to relist using such words as "expects" etc in their own RNS.s.
As for your fantasy feedback from an alledged phone call, well you've been wrong from day 1 and lost 1000s. You've been accused of misleading others into investing here who have or are losing on paper badly.
You should formally apologise on this thread and hang your head in shame admitting so far you've got it wrong and are sitting on paper losses....lots of them. |
From LSE, i wouldn't be following this poster who has just sold all their ALGW Shares at a loss

RE: De-list to avoid AuditToday 08:03
I sold up a few days ago. Have I lost money? Yes but I decided it's better to put what is left elsewhere than take any more risks with ALGW.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You might just want to get a little smarter and less dismissive of what you perceive as negative derampers as you put it.
Alternative views can offer make you think and research more.
Let's face it anyone who thinks Hargreaves Lansdown had a big stake in ALGW and lost a 💩 load here isn't someone I'd personally be taking investment tips or advice from.
Time for you to refelce back on your posts

SINGOD QUOTES on ALGW
I can understand your frustration Bluepanther but i remain optimistic that the long wait will be worthwhile.
All I am interested in is seeing a decent return on my investment with ALGW which will happen in the near future
I too am frustrated about the lack of news but there has clearly been a big increase in the AUM over the last few months and I believe in the business model so I am happy to wait.
I was unaware that Hargreaves Lansdown had such a large stake in the company. |
If only all the small shareholders got together now to co fund and pre prepare the legal challenge against the board taking the matter early to the FCA to expose what they believe is likely to transpire and to provide the audit trail evidence. That might just force the issue.......certainly nothing to lose and everything to gain.
GS has prior form with companies......as posters have highlighted. |
It is a stated fact that 9 months on from the resignation of PKF Littlejohn, the company has been unable to find a firm of auditors who are willing to to be hired. They are having to explain this to FCA.
The directors have said explicitly that delisting is the only way they might find anyone who is willing to be hired. If that is not a corporate blunder, then I am the man in the moon.
Meanwhile the share price has fallen 90% and will need a 1000% increase on any relisting to get back to base.
That seems to me just realms of fantasy.
And what's with this newco, AUM Invest Ltd ? Why on god's earth do GS and JS need a mining company? |
Does this remind you of COPL? Or is this different? Always us punters getting screwed. |
Bloody hell!!! What happened! Delisting has killed this? Might be worth a punt at this price? Average down massively
Or good money after bad?

This is what is probably planned This post will be deletedToday 20:17 ALPHA UNIVERSAL MANAGEMENT PLC
ALPHA UNIVERSAL MANAGEMENT LIMITED
Company number 05890789
Nature of business (SIC)
07290 - Mining of other non-ferrous metal ores
Yet another fictitious mining company that GS owned and went public with in UK. Its main business was debt collection, buying nonperforming car loans for pence in the pound and sending round bailiffs to collect the debt.
Same story, auditors resigned, poor share performance and delisted in 2018, no-one got a penny. It still exists as a dormant private company with an outstanding debt of £375k, so is technically insolvent.
Then we have this newly incorporated company….
AUM INVEST LTD
Nature of business (SIC)
07290 - Mining of other non-ferrous metal ores
AUM? “assets under management, or alpha universal management” ?
There must be something wrong where mining companies become investment companies, it must be a regulatory work around for listing purposes.
Note that one of the comments in the RNS was keeping the plc status of ALGW, and the possibility of a reverse takeover. So, this NEWCO gets some good old boys (AKA TR1 holders) onboard with a few hundred grand, lists on the commercial segment of LSE and ALGW reverses into it as Version 2. The inside few get special rights and everyone else gets stuffed.
Are you with me so far?
Someone must settle the debt at ALPHA UNIVERSAL MANAGEMENT LIMITED, and one can see it becoming a subsidiary, and the new mugs pay off the old debt with their share subscription.
It’s either plausible or the plot for a book. |
Didn't expect this at all. Once again us small punters screwed and take the hit. |
Who the hell is Rawlins and why increase his stake to over 5% |
Thanks very much. Sold 350k this morning so let's see what the future holds!!!! |
Gary check out the new GS company registrations.....does NOT align with the RNS.
I'd just be slightly cautious.
What's said in that RNS is slippery....expected to be.....
They say they are disappointed with SV but have just decimated it by 60% from an all time low.
Then where the PR IR COMMS been?
Then there's the Auditors leaving terminating their contract with algw and leaving some not very good comments on file.
All these TR1 holders haven't exactly been looked after up to now 5 years on.
Just be careful |
